OnePlus Nord CE4 memory, storage, and charging details are out

Vlad, 18 March 2024

When it launches in India on April 1, the OnePlus Nord CE4 will definitely be no joke. The company has already revealed it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, and will be available in two colorways: Dark Chrome and Celadon Marble.

Today the company is teasing its charging abilities, and its dedicated microsite for the upcoming phone has also revealed its RAM and storage capacity. So let's dive right in.

As you can see from the post on X which is embedded above, OnePlus brags that the Nord CE4 will be the fastest charging Nord ever. That means it will even be faster than the Nord 3 from last year, which supported 80W wired charging. This definitely sounds intriguing, and makes us think the Nord CE4 will match the OnePlus 12's and OnePlus 12R's 100W wired charging support. And that would indeed be quite the boon for the midrange Nord series.

Moving on, OnePlus says the Nord CE4 will have 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. There's no "up to" mention with regard to RAM, so we're assuming all versions get the same 8GB. On the other hand, with storage, we expect the base model will have 128GB, with 256GB available for a higher price. The storage will also be expandable via microSD card all the way up to 1TB, and 8GB RAM expansion is supported too.

OnePlus Nord CE4 memory, storage, and charging details are out

No other details have been officially confirmed so far, but it seems like OnePlus is keen to once again use its usual strategy of drip-feeding us information about new phones, so we're sure more specs will be outed soon - after all, we're still two weeks away from the unveiling.

Hopefully this one would actually go international. A decent Spandragon processor with decent specs and microSD card slot might be quite popular, IMO. I feel they missed a mark when Nord CE3 never went to international sales, I think it could have so...
