Weekly poll results: the vivo X Fold3 Pro is the clear favorite of the series

The vivo X Fold3 Pro was the clear winner in last week’s poll – 42% of voters are interested in getting one, a fraction that would look even more impressive if we took out the 19% who just aren’t in the market for a foldable.

The Pro has so many advantages over its sibling – faster chipset, better tele camera, a bigger, faster battery and water resistance are the highlights. The regular X Fold3 may be the lightest book-style foldable yet, but the Pro is light enough (219g vs. 236g).

The price premium for the X Fold3 Pro is around 43% over the vanilla model, but it seems that for most the advantages are worth it. The “it costs too much” option was picked by around 12% of voters. A bigger number than that just aren’t sure yet and are waiting for reviews to make up their mind.

Flipping over to the vivo X Fold3, we see that the most popular option was “I want the Pro”. Like we said, it’s the clear winner. A decent chunk of voters are considering the vanilla model, but most think that if you are shelling out for a cutting edge foldable flagship, you may as well get the better one.

There are no news on an international launch for the X Fold3 models, but this week we did hear that they will gain 5.5G connectivity (along with the vivo X100 series).
