Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 availability expands over six EU markets

The LG Nexus 5 went official on the last day of October last year, but its official Play Store availability has remained rather scarce. Sure, you can get it through various retailers almost anywhere, but the price tag is usually much higher there.

As of today the Play Store in six EU countries officially offers the latest LG Nexus 5 smartphone and Asus Nexus 7 2013 slate - Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal and Sweden. The 16GB Nexus 5 costs €349, while the 16GB Nexus 7 is priced at €269.

The full list of countries, where the Nexus 5 is officially available via the Play Store includes Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, India, Japan, Netherlands, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States.

That's still more than 21% tax. With 21% tax it should be 320 euros.

EU pricing includes 20-25% sales tax. US pricing is tax free.
