The Nexus S lands on AT&T US network, costs a Benjamin

22 July, 2011

So far, if you wanted to use a Google Nexus S with the AT&T network in the US, you would have to buy the device unlocked at $600 while T-Mobile and Sprint users enjoyed subsidized rates. But now Google is bringing their pure Google experience to AT&T customers as well, that too at a wallet-friendly price.

The Nexus S will now be sold through Best Buy for AT&T on a contract at a subsidized rate of $100. You can buy it starting July 24 and if you are impatient, pre-order it online right now. This would be great news for those who want a phone with stock Android but we feel there might be a lot more waiting for something else.

I agree with your statements. Judging from the millions of "why haven't my gingerbread arrive" condemnations for each other android phones, one have to emphasize on regular updates.
