But 1 small disappointment with Nokia 100: it doesn't have the classic Snake game. The Nokia 105 does though and so I'm glad I bought the Nokia 105.

to add on:
My first phone was a Nokia 3210, I was a teenager and I got it after about 1 year after launch, 15 years ago. It cost $99 back then. I have alot of memories with it.
My latest phone is actually a smartphone - Nokia Lumia 525, which is good, more user friendly and better battery life than your typical Android phones. It's able to take a beating too, it dropped several times and no problems except a small chip at the corner which is purely cosmetic.
So 6 days ago I took out this Nokia 100 (a spare phone which was not used before), charged it up and decided to give it a go for the heck of it, to see how long the battery will last and relive life using a regular handphone, and try to get away from using a smartphone for awhile.
I like the experience. And this Nokia 100 is far better and cheaper than the Nokia 3210 I had. Better design, battery life, screen, features etc. $30 phone bought 2 years ago better than $99 phone 15 years ago, this shows how far technology has come. I was so impressed that I went out 3 days ago to buy a Nokia 105 for $22, the successor to the Nokia 100.
1 more thing: I used the flashlight lightly. And it's VERY useful. So I will like the revise my rating of Nokia 100 from 9/10 to 9.5/10.

Used this for 6 days, started from full charge (6 bars) and now it's left with 2 bars. I used it for light calling, light gaming, no SMSing, and played around with the settings at the beginning. As I used up 4 bars of battery in 6 days, I estimate that the remaining 2 bars can last me another 3 days, for a total of 9 days, which is not bad at all considering that I used it for light-normal usage.
The phone is very light. It is also very small and may slip easily or be hard to grip especially if you have big hands like me. It moves around like a fish when I try to press its buttons with 1 hand. But I like the design, small size and light weight very much, and don't consider the above to be problems.
Mine is in Legion Blue, which is a sort of teal colour, and I like it very much, personally I think it's the nicest colour for this model.
The phone seems well made, the buttons are very nice to press, overall it seems durable like any classic Nokia. However, the plastic cover is abit creaky and doesn't seem engineered for 100% exact tight fit, but for $30 this isn't an issue for me.
Voice leakage does exist with this model. But it doesn't really bother me because when you are using the phone outside on the streets, the traffic and pedestrian noise will overcome the voice leakage.
Everything is loud and clear (voice calls, loudspeaker and ringtones). Excellent reception, always max reception in most areas except for known problematic reception areas like inside lifts, which still has 2 to 3 bars of reception, which is network penetration issue not phone issue, the phone's reception is the max that the network will give in any particular area.
Screen display and contrast are good in sunlit areas, clear to see unlike smartphones.
Overall I rate this phone 9/10. Cheap, excellent voice quality, loud, clear, excellent reception, nice design, long battery life, reliable, easy to use, nice buttons, small and light easy to carry around, easy to see in sunlit areas. I only deduct 1 point because of voice leakage and cover is abit creaky, but these are negligible issues which don't bother me at all for a phone at this price.

stephen1122, 17 Aug 2014i am having nokia hundred and have moved to africa but when... moreSorry stephen11222... That probably means the GSM Band made available from your African network is not compatible with that version of Nokia 100's GSM Bands.
Check with your network the available bands and then check the specifications under "2G Network".

Have a nokia 100 phone made: 07/2010. It has fell down many times but very recently it is doing automatic reboot. This happens when the phone is thrown on sofa, or when a call comes. It shows "Battery Low" then "Battery empty" and then either switches off or reboots. I checked battery BL 5C it is not bulged nor hot. I checked the battery contacts. the middle pin was slightly bent, I corrected it to look like other 2 pins. And for some time there was no frequent reboot. But the problem is there. It occurs randomly sometimes rebooting and sometimes showing low battery (even if it is fully charged)
