In India every person keeps two mobiles. One is smartphone for internet and second is basic phones for calling. The ease and battery backup of these phones will always make them relevent.

this is a phone for calls and texts so 2G is best option and also most networks still use 2G for calls even if they have 4G
4G VoLTE is nice but only if you have good reception
it will be gone 2029 at best not 2019 ;)

Good but it would be great if it had a micro sd slot and a music player plus video player just like the nokia 130(2014).I like the features of nokia 130(2017) but I love the design of nokia 105(2017).

same old thing ... I dont know, who nokia doesnt wanna include 3g or 4g sim inside the basic phone. while most of the countries are walking away from 2g ... same old business model ... same old result for Nokia business. Nokia connects people but please dont do it with 2g anymore.

Well ... if you search for the best selling mobile phones and you go to wikipedia you'll see ... Too bad they are not re-editing the 1100 / 1110 series - best phones ever (phones, like in "what is the purpose of the phone - to TALK with someone far away, not to go to internet or to make pictures or do whatever else)

Haha mostly for some sort of nostalgia. But for that super affordable price, of about €20? It is absolutely worth it buying one, even just for some sort of a souvenir, etc.

Nice phone.
Nokia we want more durable and Basic phones like this. No Camera plz cuz a 0.3mp or 5mp camera is useless in these fones and cuz of that camera price is high. So Launch more basic phones but with no camera and Launch black & White phones also cuz they r really fast in messaging. Thnx.
