I live in the UK and bought the blue dual sim 105 but I find the sound quality not as good or as loud as the single sim 105!

Naayijil, 19 Mar 2023Is it eSim-capable?This phone uses the conventional sim which is the mini sim though micro and nano can be used too. But i am not too sure about esim. But you can buy the phone to test it. But for now the answer would be no. Esim is made for current phones especially smartphones not feature phones. Plus e meaning you have to have internet access which this phone have none. So esim might not be a option for this particular feature phone.

Every phone has pros and cons. This phone specialty is its simplicity. Good old fashioned text and call. We all need unplug sometimes from online world. I have this phone and it is a great phone. Thank you for sharing your experience i thought i was the only one who love this phone.

Fethi, 18 Jan 2023Vert badIts not bad its just we are so used to new stuff that we even forget the old ones we had. When we see new technology we want more. More in speed, resolution, camera and so on. So comparing this phone with others is not worth it because it is a simple phone for basic communication (calling,texting). Negative comments is not going to change this phone. You can see other options. But in a cheap price this is all you can get from nokia(for now)

After testing a more modern versions of this Nokia/HMD phone with a middle-2021 firmware compared to the 2019 version (same model TA-1174), seems like they improved both hardware and software. On the hardware side the screen has been improved in quality. The display contrast level seems better than the 2019 version I still have, with better black/white colors levels. I imagine they are using a different display. The keypad seems also having different buttons feedback. On the software side the phone boot time has been improved a lot and is ready to be used at boot almost 5 seconds before the 2019 firmware version. I am not sure how, I don't think is a different SoC chip, probably they improved the software boot part of the same real time operating system. But the expected biggest difference is that now the SMS T9 mode works as supposed to, changing the SMS words using the "*" button on the left. Games are still there and too bad the setting menu page is still one of the last menu icons too.

Its good to take a break for a while from the heavy use of smartphone. I have this phone. Although i do use smartphone for online purposes. This small phone is a getaway to the simpler times. So its not that bad. Its good and unique in its own way. If you go one day with this phone you will feel refreshed i guarantee. Cause i have anxiety and smartphone are the worst when it comes to mental health. Doesnt work for everybody.

A, 20 Dec 2022are you sure?100% sure. This phone does not have any call recording features. Its a very simple phone. It only has loudspeaker and volume option when a call is made.

But the problem is most of the phone which are assembled in different places may have displaced the keypad because many users of this phone has complained about keypad light. After a few months of use, it responds slowly. For example, if you press a button, screen light will come first( as always) but the keypad light comes after a while which is good for me( my phone has faced this problem too) but it is a bit disturbing. I guess i have to use the phone frequently in order to keep the keypad active so the light problem doesnt occur.

What kind of earphone should i use for this phone, should i take the original nokia earphone which is the wired headset wh108 or microsoft earphone for nokia lumia phones. Any other earphone might cause problems.
