"mp3 grade" means the phone has 10 built-in MP3 ringtones, but you can't add your own.

I think mp3-grade refers to the volume which goes when the phone rings from lower to higher

Today I brought this phone with Airtel Connection. Hope, I can use this phone for at least 2 years without any trouble.

this phone is ringing ascending by default and you cannot set normal ringing from menu :(

I love colour displays - they're warm and cuddly and technically superior to those dumb displays of the 80's and 90's - and then you go to use them on a bright day and the novelty suddendly wears off (and my eyes are good). I've owned loads of mobiles and this phone is the best! It's practically nuclear powered. Totally lightweight. I've had mine for a month, and since then it's prompted 5 of my mates to go and buy one. It's a phone with a strong statement, which says - I have 101 better things to do in my life than to stare at an 'all singing all dancing' gadget. Sharp thinking Nokia.

Excellent entry level phone, with ample features. It's now available even with a Sinhala language menu for Sri Lanka.

The perfect phone! It does very well the things what cellphones are really meant for - calling and texting. And it has an impressive battery life. I'm so sick of color phones, camera phones and pda phones. These phones do many inferior things. Nokia should stop manufacturing these type of phones. These phones can never match what dedicated audio/video players, videocams and digicams have to offer. If a device has to perform many things, it's performance or output must be of superior quality, if it can't it is better off doing basic functions. Ok I hear screams about portability, what's wrong with a small clutch bag that contains a cd/dvd/flac player-providing pure audio listening and video watching pleasure, a digicam/videocam-capturing ultra clear,perfect video/images and a nice nokia 1110i for communication? And take with you your notebook pc, after all, who wants to play WoW: Burning Crusade on the phone? Well if you enjoy mediocare things like low quality pics and vids, play silly games and other stuff, go buy yourself an N73 or something similar.

If you want a phone just for calling and SMS, 1110i is one of the best cheap phones. The battery life is so long compared with phones like N93! I charge my phone on sundays! I'm very satisfied with it.

now you can upload aac tones that mean voice tones but you need MMB v3.4 and i found it on a site called www.mobile-world.tk

Press the call key to call the number. Scroll right to increase or left to decrease the volume of the earpiece or headset during the phone call.

regarding the goon who reckons the n93 is better than a 1110i.. well done you must be the clever one.... thats why an 1110i costs about £30 and an n93 costs about £400
