My phone occassionally lights up on its own and then switches back to dark face - why does it do this???

This phone was very nice. Easy to use and affordable price. User friendly phone. Cannot delete the right navigation key to input new shortcut option on the phone.

Well from reading your life story. I can't really tell if you love this phone (nokia 1110i) more or your sweetheart?
This is a good phone but I wouldn't fall inlove with it, as its only a phone when you think about it! Right?

My 1st phone was Nokia1110. I broke this phone in a fit of rage while talkin to my sweetheart. Afetr that I got a Nokia2760 which was stolen in 5days from beneath my below while I was sleepin( I saty in New Delhi, the capital of India & full of crimes). After that recently my sweetheart gave me This Nokia1110i & I`m loving it.
Its simple yet elegant. Well it`s so easy to use and very light weighted. I can carry it anywhere anytime like I miss my sweetheart every now and then. I talk to my sweetheart evryday at least 3hrs. Me and my sweetheart stay at different places and are very much busy with our work. But with this phone we stay in touch and it`s so comfortable to talk on this phone. Nokia1110i makes my day, my life.
We have been far from each other because of our work. Fortunately, I`m working at my sweetheart`s hometown. And there have been so many things happened on this phone. We talk, fight, discuss everything, take care of other and even make love. This phone is so much involved with my life.
This phone is very cheap, light, simple, elegant, comfortable and very cute.
I assure you all will love it.
I have seen other simple and cheap phones of other brands but they all are very ugly and not have functions and very uncomfortable to use. East or west Nokia1110i is the best.
Please dont prefer any other handsets but just go to the store and get one Nokia1110i for yourself or for your near and dear ones.
Save money, time and save energy(the battery lasts for many hours).
I would suggets everyone to buy this phone if you need a phone or you wanna gift to someone.
My sweetheart is very loving, caring and extremely intelligent and knows very well which phone is the sexiest, loveliest and cutest phone. I have fallen in love with this phone and I`m buy this phone as gift to anyone on any occasion.
Technology has occupied an important place in our life.After Youtube and Facebook it`s the Nokia1110i which will be on the cover of People magazine for year 2008. This year is very important as I have found my soulmate.
I miss you honey, love you plenty and all thanks to you my dear Nokia1110i.

Rishanka - The Nokia 1100 & Nokia 1110i are pretty much the same phone, maybe just the keypad layout is different. They have the same fnctions ect..
Abrahan - If your phone still says "insert simcard" while ur sim is inside already. That means your sim card is fauly. To double check, just place ur sim card into another phone, if it still says insert sim, then you will need to replace your sim card.
James - Triband phone? I don't think so. Who told you those lies, this phone is not a tri-band phone. U might have got ripped off, buy the person who sold it to u.
Nah, this phone does not have any MP3 nor can you put any MP3 via a PC - sorry.
Good phone if you only want to make/receive calls/text.

I'm Chibueze, I have discovered a method that enables me to make calls, not just emergency calls, with Nokia 1110i that already has its keypad locked without unlocking it. This method applies to some other sets of Nokia with keypad design like that of Nokia 1110i. The method is based on "sneaking-in".
