Very good phone in this range.music,games,strong built bettert quality plastic than any samsung,sms threaded view,expandable memory,downloadable themes (128 themes in ovi store)camera below avg,the best thing is the built and the keypad so soft keypad good for texting,no signal dropping(but low connectivity thn samsung) games can be installed to memory card intead of phone memory.
pros:
battery backup
soft keypad
downladable themes and appps
nokia browser (really faster)
cons
sound quality (loud but not as good as samsung)
call qaulity (in respect of sound like burst speaker)
lower connectivity (than samsung)
all in all a good choice in this range because samsung is not providing the above mentioned things.

i brought it 2days back, with a full battery charge, with 2sims, it gave me 8hr 02min talk time. on using gprs,messaging, calling. it is good to use as secondary phone.
if u want to use to send/receive MMS, its bad. out of 5 you receive only 2. i tried with 3 networks sims. but same result.
memory card is not hot swap and there no mini usb slot. its a bit hard to change data. back cover is little bit delicate. that's it

hai friends i buyed this phone on the day of release...i wud like to share my experience....its dual standby..not dual active...keep it in mind...so u wont get calls or msgs on one sim if u r in call in the othr sim or using internet...its a big disadvantage for nokia...they still lagging behind samsung in making dual sim active mobs..no equalizer for music player...no torch light....no usb port...so cannot connect to pc...mobile is a bit bulky in size...u cannot use internet long time coz the other sim wil be cut off nd if tats ur main sim u wont get ny calls...u will miss importnt calls nd msgs...so i cud use internet only at nit wen i dont get much calls on the main sim...tats the problm with dual standby...the entire mobile system is slow..very slow like china mobiles...scrolling down menu list,music list and contacts will take maybe months...its same to china mobiles..u wil hav to press the down key rapidly if u want a speed scroll...display clarity is the poorest of all phones...worst than china mobiles..if u slightly lean/rotate the mobile a small bit to one side u wont be able to see nythng on the screen...such is the poor quality of the display...china mobs r better i wud say...nimbuz wont work in this phone...only the inbuilt ebuddy wil work...but mine its showing some error in software...no live streaming too..u cannot see youtube videos or download frm it..i dnt know wethr ny kinda downloader s thr fr tat...all the websites are shown as reduced mobile version...facebook version is very poor...hardly u can browse coz of very small display...display is too small for internet browsing...if u r buyng this phone fr browsing i wud say no..with this small screen same as nokia 101 its very boring and vry less data is visible on one page...nokia shud hv made it 2 inch display...bad thot nokia...so for me internet browsing with this phone is too bad...jus try it nd u wil know...dnt regret later k..no opera mini inbuilt...so download it from ovi store...use facebook in tat..its better than the inbuilt facebook tat comes with this phone..inbuilt facebk browser is very basic type...yet fr this display size evrythng seems poor to me..volume of the phone automatically changes wen u get calls...i dnt know wats the problm...
The positive of the phone is tat it has got a very good battery backup...heavy use i got 2-3 days backup without charging even once...great stunning look..red and blue r gud..good keypads fr typing...all themes supportd...plays lot of music formats..nice voice clarity...nice music player with loud speaker..unlimtd sms storage..threaded view...camera is ok fr ths price...10-13 hrs talktime...internet is fast with edge..downloading is fast...but with the small display browsing is vry bad experince..thr are lot of games comng with ths phone but the small display takes away all the gaming...u wil feel like playing snake in your old 1100 mob...wat has nokia done with the display god knows....
Overall i wud say i dint like it...dont fall for its look and battery backup nd edge conectvty..nokia has not added lot of important features in this mobile fr reducing cost...this is not a mob worth buyng if u r lukng fr dual sim active..ths phone has got nly the usual nokia feature like c1 nd c2 but with smaller display,clarity nd reslutn...u canot connect it to pc coz no usb...so cannot use as a modem...nokia forgot to add usb port in the hurry bury i guess...nokia still failed to produce slimmer handsets..nokia is not reading the minds of people..but samsung is doing tat...i have seen people commntg tat its gud phone with dual sim nd battery back...i want to ask them whethr they hv not seen a gud phone till now!!!who says ths s a gud phone? nly in luks i wud say..all othr is crap..speedy internet is spoiled by the small display size..
Better choice is go for samsung metro duos 2252...it costs nly rs 2500...has all the features nd is dual active with more battery backup than ths 112..big display..comes in pure white...luks stunning than black..gud camera..other than intrnet speed i wud say its better than 112 in all specs...if u r lukng fr nokia go fr c1 or c2..but those r dual standby...dnt get fooled by the brand name nokia..nokia is becong china model nowdays...i dnt know wat hapnd to them..stil dual standby, bulky sets with smaller display...if nokia is goign like this they wil find the fate of motorola soon...

Sam, 08 Aug 2012What about the earpiece volume? Is it quite audible while ... morei m using this phone from last 3 days in kolkata. Built is compact. Gprs is fast. Havent charged since 7th august. Still battery is enough for two days. Chatting on ebuddy is smooth. Overall nice mobile for rs. 2650. Would have preffered torch than vga camera.
