I was searching for an old good Nokia type brick to carry around, drop from ladders, drive over with an excavator etc.
I was still using 3310 (Original of corpse. Not the newly launched parody), but the battery time was not actually that good even with new batteries (3-4 days tops just to keep up carrier).
This phone was supposed to be the stuff. No stupid Android, KaiOS or other half baked linux, no useless 4G without tethering (just to drop battery life and add data cost), no prehistoric camera. At the same time all the useful features like flashlight, direct access to 2 sim cards (if you sink your phone and want to throw your contacts to another brick), loudspeaker is well functioning, alarms and reminders, snappy as hell. All that i want from a phone, really. Plus it's resilient. Just tape the back cover to the sides and launch it against a brick wall if you want.
..now the sad truth. The programmers have done it sloppy once again. There are some terrible bugs. Whenever i try to reply to an SMS, it sends the reply to a random contact in my phone without asking for any confirmation. This has caused some stupid situations. I have to keep in mind to compose a new message and send it to the number i pick from the book instead. Then sometimes it just shuts off without any particular reason. I have seen it when sending a message and just before actually sending, it shuts down. There have been other random occasions.
The earpiece speaker also just started to distort just a few weeks after using. I thought it is just some dust or metal pieces, but it is actually blown.
So close, Nokia, but not a cigar.

16 gb memory card makes the phone very slow. i suggest everyone use 4-8 gb , also keep at least 2.5 gb free space

Camera in this type of phone is useless. Only give more weight. And without FM transmitter is not useful

Call quality 100/100
+ Call recording available
+ the back speaker is also very loud so ringtone can be very loud
Best backup phone if you only need call quality and battery life
