I bought this phone in the UK - and it worked fine, with both SIM cards and respective service providers. However, it does not work in Mexico or Colombia (my old handset works fine) so it must be this particular handset. Can anyone help/advise on this? It is as if it is blocked for international operatations....

Bought it as replacement for my old Nokia 1100 - bad mistake. Used if for a month and find its texting program is awful. The phone will add commas and question marks seemingly at random and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Try to type "is" and it gives you "gr" even after you type a space - predictive program is rubbish, far worse than the ancient 1100. So it's been boxed and dumped in a drawer - I'm sticking with my 1100 - no colour, no radio, no video, but works like a dream!

The most important thing with this phone is that catches extremely well onto signals...
Morover there is no voice leakage problem...
Battery lasts often 3 days and sometimes 4 days!
Display is not very very good but it is decent enough.
No notes.
Red is the colour i have chosen.
