Anonymous, 12 Sep 2010how do you charge this thing? i have one weird charger and ... moreu should buy a charger having big hole or big pin charger. Now a days it does'nt come with Nokia Phone but it may available with some old nokia Phone Holder.

how do you charge this thing? i have one weird charger and i can't plug it into an outlet, a friend of mine gave it to me to charge and im not sure how you do it. i know this may sound funny but, im clueless

i have nokia 1600 mobile phone. Can You tell me that is it possible to hear the conversation by three peoples by bringing their ears close without the speaker phone mode on at the busy road with the number of people gathered at the spot

it is the wonderful fone .in the history of nokia..the best thing ìs its batterybackup.it lasts for a week.it is the best fone for the middle class people.it can,t be compared to nokia2690,N3110,N71ETC.

have a 1600 since 2005[original battery still working, purchased in panama/panama, switch sim cards for canada,back+fort, never had a problem still in use today,exelent service by the nocia stuff

Excellent keypad. It was stolen from a bastard. Now I am happy with a 1209 but keypad isn't like the 1600 one.

I have purchased it 5 years back and still it is working very well. Whole-heartedly I like it.
Nokia should made such kind of cell phones again and again for the benefit of middle-class people or who wish to purchase simple cell phones with required features only...

I've had this one for about 2 years and it's been very good. The battery lasts a long time, usually for about two weeks. The best thing about this phone is that the keys are sturdy and made of hard plastic, making it good for text messaging. Before 1600 I had a Nokia 1100 and the keys were made of horrible soft plastic that's really hard on your fingers.
I switched to Samsung E2210B for a while but writing text messages made my thumb hurt, so I returned to this one.
Want a basic phone with unbeatable battery life for calling and text messaging? Get this.
Want a phone with MP3 ringtones, bluetooth, 3G, WLAN and a camera? Go look elsewhere.
