1. Lagging behind 3 min within 4 hours
2. If i save number as 08472 it will not diplay name of contact, i must save it with +918472 why?

The no. save with 0 (STD Code) are not show the name of caller. I also clear all memory and again feed my no. While I save the number without 0 and +91 show the name of the caller.
Please slove the problem

I got the phone free with a $10 per month service by Consumer Cellular, no long term contract required, 30 days free if you decide to cancel. It seems to be a very high quality phone. I was able to change the ring tone to one I like, store several names and numbers, it works just fine. According to the company, they use locally available connections like Cingular, ATT, Verizon, etc. so should work wherever any other cel works.

i have this for almost 2 years and i can say it a very good fon. i dropped it more than twice still no problem. very good indeed.

Go back to basic. Alexander Graham Bell never intended the phone to take pictures. to play games with, to play music.... etc... the phone is for communicating... that's all there is to it. Period.

When you write a message, press the button that is in the left of the D-pad. You will see many symbols (&,%,$,@,....etc.).
one of these symbols is an arrow that is similar to the arrow in the ENTER button in the KEYBOARD. When you choose this arrow, it will not appear in the message, but it will take you to a new line.

of course its a nice phone if you just want to talk and sms... and its so cheep...
i have a n73... SE P1i and this nokia 1600...
according to my opinion SE P1i is the worse than nokia 1600... because
well about this mobile... dont expect much from this... no connectivity.
you have a color screen,polyphonic ringtone,you can call and sms...that all..this much in a cheap price

I use my cell phone for texting and phone calls. That's all. This is a great phone for those of us who don't need toys, just tools. The battery lasts a long time and it's small size makes it a good fit for my pocket.
