I bought the Nokia 1600 back in 2005 and I am still using it now in 2014 as my only phone. Sure the 1600 is very old school and not for show-offs but it is VERY realiable and hardy despite having being dropped a few times. I have never changed the battery, charger or send it in for repairs in 9 years and yet it STILLS gives out good talk and standby time. No smartphones can beat that! Afterall, being NOT so connected is a privilege these days.

Rugged, useful, dependable. That's how I describe my Nokia 1600. This phone continues to do what a phone like this was designed to do--reliably make and receive calls and texts. I'm now ready for a "smart phone," but have no intention of ever throwing this guy away.

the nokia 105 is an updated version of 1600 , with a better battery standby & more colors on screen .i use a 105 , C2-01 & an asha 503 but still i love my 105.

its so good . ist phone of my life. 2005. when i am in class 6.
i used it 2005 to 2010. now i am a smart phone user galaxy and lumia., but i miss u 1600..

I have used Nokia 1600 for about 6 years. Never ever let me down and never had to change battery. Latterly some difficulty charging (probably just need a better cable). Perfect for all my mobile needs and just the greatest phone ever. As somebody said... "a friend for life!"

It is a great phone. I have been using it since 2005. That is 8 years now. I dropped it so many times. It is still working well and the original battery is still working well too. It is unbelievable that a 50 euro phone could lasts so long and with great performance. Salute to the Nokia 1600.

i am using this 2006 i did change nothing in this phone its working awesome. i dont even changed the battery..

reallly the mobile is very awesome and it is very user friendly one,,,,
this is no.1 in market compared to any 3g brand mobiles

I have been using nokia 1600 without any problem since 2006. I changed battery once. As a simple phone for talking, it is nonparallel.
