used this phone for 2 years or something, 2010 - 2012 I think, It's been laying in a shelf for 5 years, I just turned it on, still has batery left, works perfect. These phones are amazing tbh am now using it as primary since I love to text with physical buttons, have a moto x style as a secondary for internet / camera :)

This was my first phone best as secondary phone in today's world lacks camera but the best one ever made using since 2009 in india everybody's secondary phone is only nokia and nokia I remember I was in 8th when I got this as gift on my birthday

i think 1616-2 model is superlative usage i still used that phone more than 6 years used

It still works
IT STILL WORKS AWESOME
I have it almost 6 years and fell a few times for 2 stories tall
It still works!!!!
battery still has stamina to stay awake for more than a week with 2 calls a day
miss a camera but for the rest awesome dependable and cheap product. stronger as nokia 3210

In 3rd world countries people are surprised to see me with this. they must be really status-conscious. What kind of status is to be gained in the west.
Garbage collectors walk behind their trucks using the latest smart phones. Zombies, like the rest of them. Me, i just want a phone. It used to be all about how small they could make it. well, the 1616 is as small as they got.
