my phone shutting off by itself always. when i complain to softlogic about my NOKIA 1616,they give me a new 1616 phone.but it also shutting down.ohhh don't try to buy NOKIA 1616.never.

i think it is the worst phone ever releas by nokia its keypad is very bad and is not a tough phone for which nokia is known its screen may damage very easily and in my opinion if you want to purchase this then you must think one again

What is the battery timing. I bought it two days ago, it giving me battery timing of 1.5 days with around 500 text messages sent per day and about 2 hours calling daily. Is that ok?

bubbles, 16 Aug 2010which is better nokia 1616 or nokia 1800?..Almost the same only the keypad differs. Might as well go for N1616 it is more cheaper.

don't buy - the voice come out from the speaker during conversations , much better 1208/9.

Bought this phone waiting to get my Samsung Wave. I thought Nokia was great making simple reliable phone but even that they cannot do, the phone is really crap. The battery moves inside the phone, which makes my phone shutting off by itself every five minutes ! I have to put paper inside to make it work, in a brand new phone bought in a Nokia shop !!!!
Don't buy expensive Nokia phones, and don't buy cheap one: go for Samsung so much more reliable.
By the way got Wave now and is fantastic !!

1. Is this handset have Birthday Remainder option? So that it will alarm automatically every year.
2. Is it have voice alarm / Speak clock.
