really a bad phone becoz bluetooth and infrared facility is not there.one more reason is its cost ,it very expensive.i thnk i should be abt 400-700 Rs.

There is no option for downloadin of MP3 Tones and it has no 8MB user memory, totally fraud by nokia...

i think its great..
i had camera/ 3g phones before..
both with camera 2 mp
sliding
and has mp4/ mp3
but what the heck!
i had hard time
typing messages..
then, 1112 comes..
nice model..
but my relatice came from england
and gave a new camera phone..
i have to use it..
the same problem..
too complicated..
so, i bought a new one.. 1650..
a basic phone but fits my needs..
a simple suggestion..
why dont you try to buy
an mp4/ mp3/ i-pod
then a digital camera
and a basic phone..
when one gets damage you could buy a new one..
unlike phones with mp4/ cam/ phone..
when it is damage
you lost everything!
plus, if your phone's battery run off,
you still have your mp3 and camera..
you can still enjoy..

I forot to mention that the keypad is very bad...you hit so many keys at the same time.

The phone is very basic, not even infrared!!
Radio volume is low, graphics are bad.
If you push at the middle of the back and slide down, eventually the cover will slide open.
Overall, the phone is awful.

Very bad because poor sound quality, small fonts, very difficult to read, less easthatic, diffent king of charger can not used most commonly used Nokia charger

1650 phone is the best phone in the range of 2000. the pict. quality is good the games are good but the little bit problem is sound is very low both fm and ringtones.

bought N1650 brand new at 2,500PhP (60US$) in Manila... all I can say is
- good BASIC fone, does it's job well (calls/sms)
- battery lasts 4-5 days
- slim build, good design, bright color screen
- keypad not good though
just a note:
- this is a BASIC fone, what do you expect
- those who complain about memory, fm, etc... should not post biased opinions here since this will help others who are looking for a good mobile fone...
- a fone is a fone whatever it's specification/features are... it's still a fone... I don't see the logic in buying a high-end 5mp camera, headbanging sound fone when you can't even send an SMS due to lack of load credits, that's very STUPID

I think this is a good for the $$$. There is no other phone, that has a colour screen for only $99. And as far as basic phones go, this does the job of a phones.
If you are just wanting a basic phone, then this is a good phone for you. But if you are wanting anything more than a phone, then best to keep on looking.

AN ASSESSMENT IN THE VIEW OF NOKIA-1650 ASPECTS
Pros: (should be realized & appreciate the following existing features in Nokia-1650)
• Very useful and essential features are available with a reasonable Low-price tagged.
• Big & bright colour screen, good battery backup(standby + talktime), FM-radio and a torch flash-light makes this Cell-phone very handy to a normal end-user.
• Nokia is such a reliable & a trusted brand but beside this low-price tagged, Nokia-1650 budget cell phone looks like a precious and good-looking handset.
• An excellent & clear call-reception, good quality built-in hands-free, fine vibration alert, sufficient memory space for Contacts-numbers & SMS-messages as well.
Cons: (should be modified & recover the following existing flaws & absent features in Nokia-1650)
• Bad Keypad’s buttons setting that interrupts in texting flouncy.
• Poor quality of FM-Radio reception.
• Very Low sound of the Ringtones.
• Absence of SMS storage meter.
• Assigned numerical values for the Contents of Menu & sub-menus are missing.
Any remark should be appreciated regarding the above comments of Nokia-1650.

i am going to buy a mobile and i can't take a decision if to buy nokia 1650 or to buy 1208 i can bay for each one but i can't choose one of them plz help me ,,, i read your comments about the 1650 but you all frightend me from buying it plz recommend one for me thanks all
