my husband got for me this phone after we checked its specifications in this website, next day we went back to the shop to ask them to exchange this phone for another one, we got then nokia 2630, that i really love except that the battery could last a bit longer. nokia 1650 - i opened it and was regretting in the same second, its design seems nice and even nicer on internet, when u catch it, u see how the keyboard is uncomfortable, then u switch it on and u realize you almost cant see the menu since the display is so bright and even reducing the brightness doesnt help. everything as though would be ok but i didnt want to catch it for a second more because of the low low menu and display quality. nokia 2630 is flatter, lighter and has all features almost like nokia 6233 except the memory card. if u want something stylish and still good, get 2630. until this day i hate nokia 1650.

I bought this phone few days back..
Over all rating 8/10 in its category phones.
buy it if you want to get upgraded from basic phone like 1110 and 1112 etc to colored and refined one.
Good features :
Talk time and standby by is as good as mentioned in the specification.
Reception of phone is good, speaker phone and headphone is also good.
The screen is much better as compared to price which helps in navigation, reading writing sms.
Radio quality, Torch works fine. it is better then nothing.
All required features are in software as in all standard nokia phones and some new features like call time tracker (If you really like to track call time).
Bad and boaring things :
Ring tones are little low in sound even set to 5 or highest point as compared to Nokia, 1110, 1112 which i have used previously.
The keypad (small in size) specially lower end keys are hard to press.. but most of the rubber based nokia phone keypads gets software after usage.
Color themes are not good enough .. only default red suits the most.

before i bought this, i compare 2626 and 1650. 1650 and 2626 are both nice. but 1650 is more handy. but is there more color of it? just asking. and what is the use of 8mb without anything to download? is there? thanx!

Nokia 1650 for me is nnice and good, 'coz it has some similar features like what other cellular fons withc cameras.
It also has radio connection on local area.
You can adjust the color of the wallpaper and the menu backgorund of your fon.
It also has different profile for your convenience at certain time you want to use it.
I certainly like this unit because it is not the same as others that is most commonly used in our place.
Lastly, because this serves as my remembrance.

am chuzing b/w this fone, 2350 and 2626. So far i gez its ok as compared w the 2. The screen of 2350 is kinda small and both have blurry screen w/c may become too blurry after long period of use. the keypad is ok though the space b/w the keys is kinda close together as compared to other fones. so far..its ok..i'll be posting later as i got to use longer..

bought 1650 three weeks back..
features seems good, but the audio quality is too bad,high noice... given for service. got it back but not satisfied. Gave it back again. still waiting to get it serviced properly .

Very good for a price of 65 euro/in Bulgaria/.The display is large enough and the software is speeder,than 2626 and much more fashinable,despite ,that it does not own WaP.MMS,Java.it works well and I hope the battery will not be so bad like on 2626/BLC- 5 =1020mach/

vGku: Standby 240 hours, talk time 8 hours. It has the same battery as some pro models, so that's very good!

hello i bought nokia 1650 just yesterday, it is nice mobile but its torch light is not much stronger as nokia 1200 and 1208. actually i was looking a mobile with fm radio and torch light together. and only nokia 1650 have this both function, that's why i bought this mobile otherwise i am already having nokia 1200 and nokia 2310.
radio is ok for me coz i use to listen news only but light is not powerfull as i was expected like nokia 1200 or nokia 1208. so i m dissapointed with nokia.

I am facing a problem , my Nokia 1650 is displaying the number of contact in my phone book with name..i want to disable the number of contact when phone rings i want only name to display when call comes with the number stored in my fone as contact plzzz help me :(..it breaks the number privacy can any tell me plzzzz???:(

This is a good phone. The problem i faced is the keypad is tough and not easy to type with.Moreover the clock on the main display is very small and does not show Am/Pm though i have adjusted the time formate from time and date settings.The voice is very clear but the flashlight is not as good as in nokia 1200.
