Hi Nokia 1650's software is very good that is the only plus point its faster then nokia 3110 2760 2626 and 6030 it doesnt take time to open an inbox of any other folder. Flash light is good but its not that usefull if you use it on open space like in garden or street. but still its good. rightone there is variety in ringtones but useless as non of the are loud and clear yes you can download ringtones via SMS MMS or from service Provider no wallpaper option. anything else ? duh Let me know

can you please tell me about the flash light quality and is the set slow or fast like in opening messages even when the inbox contains too many messages etc?

how is the ringtone variety? it seems it doesn't have any means of downloading new tones as it doesn't even have gprs or mms...am i right?

Finally i got this phone and i m not that happy as i was expected to be everything is good in this phone but if you looking for mobile phone mostly for FM Radio NEVER!!! buy this phone if you want Loud Ring Volume Never buy this phone if above two doesnt make and sens for you than you should go for it its a great phone with nice display and battery backup Keypad not bad at all still FM and Ringer volume will Flop all good quality of this mobile Please let me know if you want more info

YES!!! its an excellent phone... easy to text... not at all slow. firm ware is similar to 6101 but clearer and screen is tall and wide. Bright interface unlike other Nokia low end phones. Impressive unit at a cheap price! Nice tones as well :)

Can anyone plz tell me is Nokia 1650 having fast responses like Nokia 1100,1110,1112,1200,1600 etc or is it slow like Nokia 2610 etc?
I think its body shape and software resembles Nokia 1200,1208 family. But Nokia 1200 has minor software buggs. Are these buggs removed in 1650?
And finally I want to ask abt the flash light. Is the flash light as powerful as that of Nokia 1200?
Please help me out I want to buy this set for the following reasons:
1)Good sms storage----upto 250 sms
2)Good battery capacitance
3)Flash Light
The set also have FM radio which will attract a lot of people but FM is not my priority because I already have Nokia N73 Music Edition and I want to buy Nokia 1650 as a second set to be used mostly for sms purpose.

yeah i don't understand why it doesn't even have gprs for u to download new tones or pictures but it has 8mb of memory.... I love the outlook but it just lacks connectivity. sigh...

?no camera,no browser,usb,infra,bluetooth,mms... but it has 8mb memory. Why? How u gonna fill it up? nokia6080 has only 2.9mb. Nonsens. Better buy sony ericsson w200i. Has aprox. same price.

I got this phone one day back. Phone is good. but key pad is not as expected. Its really tough to type message on this keypad. I can say nokia 1100 was far better than this. Design is good. Screen is big. I am having one 3110-classic. in specification both screen are same but after comparing it both i found 3110-classic screen is far much better than this.
As price performance ratio i give this phone 80% from my side. Regarding battery backup.. it will take some time to judge me the exact backup by this phone.. so update you latter.

This phone is available in Big C, Hyderabad and its Price is Rs. 2500/-,
1) Big display in entry level phone
2) FM with good Ear Phones
3) Very good battery Backup

its out here in UAE and with good price. only aed240 ($65) but the flashlight is not that clear but fm radio is cool. cheap phone with slight good features. but the color is too drastic....

it's out at last in Thailand also..for only 2150 THB or ~44EUR
it's Nokia phone with largest gap in 2007, taking half a year between intro and retail date.
anyway IMO it's one of the best looking low-end phones available!

It's out in sweden, and should be in other countries in northern europe aswell. Although nokia themselves say nothing about it on their webpage, it's out in stores.
