Beware: Do not buy this phone if you want the following features!
FM radio, USB connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, Expandable memory, or even a Utility torch this phone does not have!
The only redeeming feature it got is a mediocre camera which is only 0.3 Megapixels. I know that this phone is cheap but in my humble opinion it's still not worthy to expend your hard-earned cash with this trash.

can I transfer a contact list from another nokia phone using the Nokia PC suit? theoretically it should work I know but has anyone tried it and he is potive it would work..coz I ll buy the cable specially for this! you can kindly also reply to email m.f.88@hotmail.com

Hello, 29 Oct 2009Does this phone support the " send to list/groups" feature?... moreThe CA-42 Cable is NOT the one - it is for the cells like the old Nokia 2125i - the end opposite the USB is a big end.
The CA-46 (with small serial end opposite the USB) is the correct one. I have on on order now, I'm trying to transfer my huge directory from my old Nokia to the 1680.

not a good phone dont purchase it exprees on cover is difficult to disassemble, very slow operation. not good at all.ewe, ewe, ewe.......

Jainal, 11 Dec 2009How can we transfer photos to PC by 1680?This is the biggest thing that annoys me about my 1680. There is no supplied USB cable and other Nokia cables I have tried don't work either. The only thing I can think of it to MMS the pictures to a phone that can be connected to the PC but this can get expensive.

It has good battery life with the standby time claimed to be about 2 weeks. This phone can also be bought unlocked so you are able to put any sim card in it. If you have one locked to one network, try contacting your network's customer service line and ask about unlocking your phone.
