I think this phone performs great for its price. The reception signal is strong, no drop calls and it has a fairly long battery life. The phone is pleasantly lightweight and its build quality is adequate. I use this phone in Singapore, Singtel Network.
The display is bright enough to be used outdoors. Messaging can be done quickly as the keypad is very tactile and responsive (albeit a small noticeable delay). It is however a bit noisy when pressed.
It is easy to get around the menus. The "Goto" menu is easily configured to let you access the most used applications quickly.
I wish the ring tone and messaging tone can be louder. There is no way to insert any photo of yours as the wallpaper.
Bottom line is you get what you paid for. Well done Nokia.

i ma using nokia 1800 on bsnl network and i am seeing very frequent call drop as the network connectivty fails. suddenly you see that what was appearing as full network signal strength(all five poles) goes to zero and the after few seconds goes to full resulting in call drop. very poor quality loud speakers. and volume level to very low even for head set.
for the same network (bsnl) ai m not experienceing call drops on my old nokoia basic hand set

Hi . Its really nice in looks and software but KEY PAD really noisy and hard to manage with. Please Nokia Don't make such faults at this level of business.

Hi to all, i brought a nokia 1800. Its good.,Ihe torch light is very bright. It is very useful for us.But the keypad was noisy and difficult to handle.Please note nokia engineers.

I bought nokia 1800 on 25/11/10 at Chennai poorvika store.The mobile is good , but the key pad is loose & noisy.The battery talk time is 2 hours & stand by time is only 2 days even we use less.So go for samsung.

Nokia mobile graphics is good than other mobile. i like nokia phones for thens and wallpapers. but calling problem when me use this phone auto restart and switch off. but very good.

Very Bad....i'm purchasing nokia 1800 Oct 1st week (IMEI:353412044762227), its display damaged on next 3rd day, the customer care centre change thats display to new one. In few days same display problem comes again

is 1800 available in full black colour in India,because in nokia web site its only silver Grey,orchid Red, Ash Blue.

i think this phone is the best phone in world because if we are using another phone their are so many problem.
i have seen many phone better then this phone .

The only thing I don't like about this product is, display, it doesn't stays on. It stays on for few seconds then goes blank. I wish there was a feature to stay on for good. Otherwise I like it.

its sofware is not so good it has some kind of problem like if we receive call of new number and after the call if we saw its call history it show a lot of calls of that number with multiple durations.
