Got this from tesco direct on Friday .Pay as you go, but unlike other pay as you go phones I've had didn't have any credit on the sim, so couldn't reg it .My wife had to get credit for it with her phone which,luckily was also tesco.What use is a phone without credit?why wasn't I informed at point of sale?or better still increase the price and include credit.Add to that the camera won't work without a SD card and there isn't one them either.So be warned if you buy one pay as you go, you will have to spend some extra cash if you want to use it

Thanks to Microsoft. Just their ownership is sufficient. Set hangs while playing with Opera browser. You have to remove battery to reset mobile phone.

Continuation to the Sept 12, 2016 comment by me..
Good phone for people who prefer to stay on phone calls for a long time. occasional texting and good battery life. I using phone on a single charge and done one Sept 11, and its still going good. Almost 4 days now and I'm still running with a little less than half the charge. Amazing battery backup. Uses the old original Nokia BL-5C battery, which is a relief. Above all, a good music player, given the painful fact that you have to browse each folder one after the other with lot of button presses, a trade off, but gives a good sound quality with headsets on. All in all, a good basic phone worth the price.
PS: I haven't checked anything else with the phone like bing, facebook or messenger, so I have not included them in comments.

Amazing phone for people who need a basic phone just to handle phone calls, occasional texting and a good battery.

It's a phone. A few extras like radio, voice recorder, calculator... But in the end it's a phone. And just the job for a backup phone. Which is why I bought it because I just smashed my Android phone and can't get a replacement yet.

Duh? a lot of people should learn to read the specs before buying.
Why would you install an app to this phone? this is just a basic phone, made mostly for the purpose of text and calls. (Otherwise, go get yourself a smartphone) Being able to surf the net via Opera and having FB and messenger is already a plus for this unit.
