This phone is cheap but has major flaws:
1. TINY message store - you have to start deleting conversations after a few days.
2. Driver software doesn't seem to work - the drivers don't install properly on Windows 7, and I can't get MyPhoneExplorer to recognise it.
3. No support of any kind on the Microsoft website
Avoid it if you can, unless all you want to do is make telephone calls.

how can i view draft messages option...? i have saved sm msgs in itd draft but cant find its option in messages.

Hey everyone, I have the nokia 215,bought today, I am trying to open opera mini but it gives me an error and it says I have to go to this link they give me, I go there but that wont help me anyway. I have been trying all the time, I cannot open the web browser (opera mini) Someone who has a solution for this? Please!

I have been using Nokia phones since the 1990s, bought a Nokia 215 DS last year expecting same features and was greatly disappointed. Just bought a Samsung B312E just now to replace it. Aside from all the other downsides mentioned, including inability to store SMSes or back them up to SD card, the phone lock malfunctions. Lock the screen, put in bag/pocket, and the screen gets unlocked!!

Was just wondering have you found a basic phone with keypads that can store multiple messages? If you have please share it with us so we could upgrade for sms memory thank you!

I just bought this phone today and am very disappointed.. I was actually ok with my Nokia 1280, I tend to avoid smartphones because it's hard to text quickly or while on the go.. Specially when commuting, I found it easier to text using the traditional keypads.. But sms memory became a problem because the Nokia 1280 could only store up to 500 sms messages.. Which was why I bought this phone instead, the sales agent told me it has messaging thread already which could store a lot more sms.. Apparently from the reviews I heard that's not the case! You could expand your memory to 32Gig using a memory card but not use it for sms storage.. I guess their purpose is for you to store pictures using a 0.3 megapixel camera I won't even use! Or I guess for mp3s, hence brought me back to the same problem I have.. Might end up reslling this phone instead, but problem is I can't find a basic phone with a very high SMS storage.. So i don't know which phone to replace it with as well.. I to hope microsoft addresses this issue and releases a software update where you could store sms to memory card to be able to maximize the space you have! Disappointed with this I hope microsoft fixes!

The most annoying thing is message/missed call alert. One have to go to the Menu->Inbox and read the message (or check out the Missed call log) to get rid of the alert. We cannot open it directly or bypass them.
