Nokia 216 is an affordable phone for the masses.
It is a dirty cheap phone that costs only 37$ and it is an internet enable device,with radio,usb,2 cameras,led flash,games and other features that even i phone7 does not include some of them.
The design once more deserves an oscar and i mean it.
Many people like these phones just like others like smartphones.
Since Microsoft's Nokia sells millions of them it is not a shame to release this kind of phones.
Many will use it as a secondary phone because of it's battery and some other poor people or uninterested in high specs will buy it too...
I think 216 is a good movement and i dont know any other known and trustworthy brand that gives so much things with so little money.
As a conclusion i would say that the real shame goes to Apple that misses basic features while their phone is so expensive.Also the biggest shame goes to Samsung for releasing Galaxy 7 note with big battery problem.Because of it's battery many people lived a true horror and unfortunately get injured.
It isn't fair to write about shame here in Nokia's page.You should write about shame in the page of Samsung after all this tragic incidents galaxy note 7 caused.
As for me i'm thinking to buy Nokia 216 since you can even download free games.I like the mint colour very much.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2016i was hoping that they would release an upgrade of the 225.... morebetter processor for improved response time just like the nokia of old when they still use symbian os. these new feature phone are a bit sluggish and it is noticeable. it's a bit irritating that you type faster than the letters being displayed.

The only reason why nokia is falling down is because they made an indestructible phone, so when they release some new device People will think, "oh my old nokia phone still working and do his job there's no reason to buy a new one" :p
But seriously I hope they come back, and made some android phone. I think it will be great for them.

Microsoft no longer owns Nokia, the 2 parts of the company feature phone and smart phone were sold to 2 different companies.
The OS looks like Symbian.
I will pick one of these up, it will be a good work phone. This phone is designed for calls and texts and maybe music considering you can use 32GB mSD card but pretty much nothing else, which, suits me perfectly fine 😀

i was hoping that they would release an upgrade of the 225. the 230 was actually a downgrade. bigger memory for sms storage and contacts, bigger battery and flashlight using cree led (or equivalnet). symbian os? can skip bluetooth, wap browser, games.

no use of launching mobiles with all repeated features,it is a sure failure, i insist n suggest nokia to produce improved+modified vergions of asha 300 touch n type, c2-01,6233,etc.,with larger screen [2.8 or more],video calling facilitiy,which will have huge demand n greater response...try nokia...

better you buy a Nokia 208 which mean u luck if u still can get a new one in your country because Nokia 208 is Series 40 latest edition so you can install java apps

If these phones are being sold for next to nothing to less fortunate people who cannot afford to buy any means of a wireless device than great job. If not, and this is for the masses then I ask WHY??? this is not even 2005 tech.

This is nothing new, hence why they stopped making Android nokia phones and they all went Windows based... Seems they've now seen that was a bad move as they might be returning to droid.
