hey u have this phone nd have problems with it dont worry u can have a mobile application on it through the site blacmail.in and can enjoy your mails on your phone without GPRS connection.just try it out u will start loving ur phone.

damanpreet, 27 Feb 2010i brought in RS2100.its a good phone.but memory is only 10m... moreNokia has mentioned total memory of 32 mb...which includes phone software as well. So after that 10 mb left for user memory..

urggh.. i hate this phone, i tried to upgrade the version of this software into v09.55 but still it got the same problems, the phone would restart itself then my files in the gallery. and applications are corrupted, my msgs on the inbox are not supported too, and can't be deleted,please help me

Anonymous, 18 Feb 2010mine got software compliant after six months. it also gets ... moreI bought this mobile and found the same problem and it never gets switched on again.whenever i use bluetooth to transfer files, it happens. People working in nokia care says me that not to use bluetooth, then why the feature was given? within 7 months of buying three times i had given it to nokia care for repair. They told that it was software problem, and flashed my mobile every time.

This is a good basic phone. Does pretty much everything I needs it for.
However I have the following problem: (Anyone know how to fix this?)
When someone phones me it simply shows as "CALL" on the phone. Not the numher or the name of the person (if they are saved in my phone book).
Also When I have a missed call the number/ name does not show up so I have no idea who has been calling me?
Is there any settings I need to change on the phone? This is pretty basic stuff for a mobile phone. I haven't changed any settings at all since getting it out of the box.

Connectivity via bluetooth

Requirements:
------------
1. Bluetooth Dongle & its Driver CD.
2. Bluetooth Enabled Handset.
3. PC Suite & Driver of that particular mobile handset
(Normally a CD is provided with the mobile handset itself)
How To Install Bluetooth Dongle?
-------------------------------
1. Insert CD in the system & install the software
and Restart the system.
2. Insert Bluetooth in the system & let the system
install the Hardware.
How To Install Handset Modem?
-------------------------------
1. Insert CD/DVD in the system & install the
PC Suite software
and Restart the system.
2. Start the Bluetooth of the Handset and Pair
Device with the system.
3. Let the System install the Hardware.
4. Go to Control Panel>Select Phone & Modems>Select the
Required Modem (Bluetooth DUN Modem)>Go to Properties
of that Modem> Select Advance TAB & insert Extra
Initialization Command (AT+CGDCONT=1, "IP", "INTERNET")
Press OK.
(REPLACE THE "INTERNET" WITH YOUR OPERATOR APN ADDRESS)
YOU CAN GET APN FROM YOUR OPERATOR CUSTOMER CARE.
5. Come back to the Bluetooth Window. Right Click on the
Handset icon & select Refresh Services.
6. Now Click on Bluetooth Dial-Up networking in the Top List
of available services. Accept Connection in Handset.
The system will automatically ask for Dial...just click
on it & the system will get connected to NET automatically.

I just find some information abt dis 2323 on CHIP magazine the magazine given clearly info abt this it is one of the best buy option between 2000 to 2200 Rs. Chip strongly recommended 2323 for best value for money plz check dt review if possible..

signal sensitivity is not upto the mark. battery is good, but not excellent. auto on and failure to shutdown of backlight was noted, whether this has to do with a certain setting only is not known.

i brought in RS2100.its a good phone.but memory is only 10mb but the nokia website shows 32mb memory.nokia has cheated us again.in the past also nokia has displayed wrong memory for nokia 5070,6070,6080 and cheated us.its a shame on nokia

Its a better handy set to use but it need memory card slot
