well nokia 2600 being a low cost phone with many good features,i would have been better if the phone was provided with a card slot

why bluetooth without memmory slot?
vga camera is exellent.
phone is much slower.
it dosent gets dmaged easly.
it fall from the top and broke down to pieces yet still functioning smooth...
exellent appearence... nice phone

Nokia does and did make other devices that do have WLAN, card slot, etc, that are reasonablely priced. Check out the N80, that will be my next device.

i tried to install Opera Mini 5, but the phone's processor can't handle it. I didn't try to install 4.2 because i wanted the browser to be simple for my child, but you can try.

Since it doesn't have an expandable memory you are limited to only a few songs @ a low bit rate, maybe 5 or 6 @ 32kbs. To do, search for other device with both bluetooths on, establish connection, send music file from other device, save(move) file to gallery.

The 2600 is actually a really nice little phone, ideally suited for text and MMS messaging, and other basic tasks. Installing Opera Mini 3 browser gives the phone more functionality, although the default browser works well enough. Cons to this phone, is the lack of a media player (realplayer version A would allow streaming and double as a music player), and the lack of an expandable or even a larger built in memory, would be a welcome addition. Pros include T-9, bluetooth, 2.5 mm headphone jack, FM radio, S40 os, loudspeaker, ok still/video camera and a bright screen. I got this phone for $10usd as a promo, and gave it to my 9 yr old, who loves it.

Its really nice,slim n u wont feel dat u're holdin anyfn.very good sound n picture quality.but u cant use big softwares,like softwares up to 200kb.but is a wonderful fon
