Thanx Fordy, sounds similar to the nokia 2600 classic. do u kno much about that fone? Do u think this slide would be better than the 2600 classic?

finally, I already own one, it has very good performance and fast web browsing. although it only has 13mb. it is still nice. but according to this site, it has 32 mb. c",)

Nokia 5000 has 1.3 mp cam and looks like 5310, less the music buttons, 2mp cam, memory card slot. If you like 5310, you can have 5000 as alternative. If you want to try something different, Nokia 2680 Slide is for you.

I have this Nokia 2680 slide. The memory is only around 10-12MB as opposed to 32MB stated here. The sliding mechanism is great. However, the lower part of the keypad gets scratches, minor though, because of sliding the phone. Same screen as Nokia 2630. I only use this phone for calls and texts. This is a great buy especially for me since I can use a bluetooth headset for this phone. I have tried GPRS and it's good. You can surf the internet using this phone. It has a radio but I haven't tried it yet. There are two programs that I like in this phone: Expense Manager and Sudoku! To wrap up, if you are into calls and texts, few mobile internet, radio, this is a great and stylish phone. I have the gray one. Blue looks a bit cheap, like a toy. If you're after multimedia features, well, go for Nseries. Nokia 2680 slide, no fuzz, just plain beautiful.

The only thing which I do'nt like about this phone is no expandable memory...otherwise this phone is equivalent to Nokia 3600 slide.

I just bought this cute little cellphone for less than US$100. It is a little chrome-colored sliding cellphone. It's just the kind of no frills cellphone i wanted. i just hate those many-in-one heavy power hungry cellphones which are jack-of-all-trades but master-of-none
The plusses - small, light-weight , slider , ease of use , cute looking, FM radio, cheapest sliding phone in the market and NOKIA's durability.
negatives - not much memory , memory cannot be expanded - wish for more memory for mp3s
