up to 8gb micr sd...for a lil low end ? not bad, radio rds, mp3 player, i guess its a perfect deal for thos who are not looking for spending a lot on cellular phones.
by the way, is nokia about 3.5 mm audio jack now ? good to be standard

nokia will drop another bomb when they release this phone...a very low priced phone, a quadband with external memory...it will have a good impact like 5130 and 2730...

If im going to pub to drink, i wont take N900 with me for example but cheap phone like this. And IF i happen to lose it or break while drunk, i have nothing to regret later. And this particular one has very nice specs for low end.

This is actually a good phone for the elderly.
To have a little camera phone with a functional music player to play music from their time and looks good at the same time.
Now a days it seems nobody really cares about all segments of the society. They are all going fof the youth.
As far as pricing is concerned I think a person who pays 3700/- for a phone would rather save 400 bucks than opt for a better camera because all most people do with their photos is to view it on the phone it self. Not many prints the pics taken from the phone and that is where the difference between a VGA and a 2 Mp or 8 Mp camera is seen.
But I still think Nokia can bring the price a little more down. This will happen probably in time.

Its Rs.3700, if you can spend Rs.400 more you can buy 2700 with 2MP camera.

To say that everyone can afford phones that are better and more expensive than this is the most ridiculous and ignorant post I've ever read on here.
Nokia are the market leaders because of phones just like this - cheap, robust models that sell by the tens of thousands, particularly in developing nations. Maybe you can offord something a little better than this, but not everybody is as fortunate.
