Been using this phone for an year now. Just one advice:
DO NOT UPDATE THE PHONE'S FIRMWARE FOR WANT OF NEW FEATURES OR BUG FIXES, because the updates being released by Nokia for this phone are more buggy every update..
v7.15 was the best version for this phone.
i was forced into updating by nokia care because my software had gone corrupt, and v7.8 had very slow transition effects, without fixing the existing minor bugs..
then i thought maybe the next update would fix the problems,
but when i updated to v9.95 a few months back, the slow transition effects were NOT fixed, instead the new 'features' i got were: the phone lost the ability to use screensavers and the music player has become super slow (opening files, changing tracks, etc..) tried reinstalling but thats not where the problem lies.
so the hope remains that maybe the next update will fix my problems but looking at nokia's previous buggy software updates i think the phone would just cease to work if i update the phone again!
probably nokia's way of making people buy new phones. just rediculous.
putting bugyg updated firmware aside, its a great phone with great music playback quality (when paired with good quality branded headphones) apart from gorgeous general capabilities at an affordable price.

I bought a cheap philips shh4520 headphone, and the sound is quite perfect now with good bass as well as treble..

'Searched zedge already, maybe a more definite suggestion in the future I hope. I have no idea which model uses this particular new "standard" tone besides the nokia 6700 classic.. That didn't get me anywhere also. But still, appreciated the response. Thanks guys! =)

Ei 2700 users, got a question 4u guys..my friend had this phone i send opera mini 4.2 to his phone and set it up like mine 6263 & 6288 both phone had connect through d internet via prov file 4 s40 phones..bt cant connect using 2700,and 0M icon had a key sign on it..does this mean 0M should b signed version though application access is allowed

akhil paul, 03 Jul 2010I brought this phone 5 months ago now my inbuilt opera mini... more Ask ur 2 service 4d setting 2 use ur Operamini..if they cant provide try creating a prov.file using their IP add n port plus APN..place it in 1 phone n send it thru urs via bluetooth..set it as default in ur config.

I am using this phone from past 10months ...... even i faced the pblm ....... i guess changing settings wouldnt help you ..... Try to download opera 5 from default browser .. this is upgraded version .....

hey i have a nokia 2700 i purchased it last year.the thing is the internet folder is not appearing nd music is not playing anymore it says memory not enough when i try to play it,and ive deleted everything but still the memory is not enough.most of owners of this model have different problems with it
