SJJ, 21 Jan 2010Pls tel me if i can go 4 dis mobile if i want good pic qual... morePic quality = not very good ===> go for SE phones which has better cameras, I recommend J105i Naite, since it's price close to 2700c
Speaker sound quality = for me, it's enough, but if you really want good speaker sound, go for SE W395, I believe Walkman phones have better sound quality
Storage = I've used Sandisk MicroSDHC 4 GB Class 4 in 2700c and has no problem, but I won't recommend this, since Nokia only recommend up to 2 GB external storage
Overall, I chose this mobile since it has everything I need, not I want. Simple design, great battery life (charge once in 3 days for an hour of talk, 50s texts, an hour of browsing, and an hour of music listening), good connectivity options, loud and clear speaker and earpiece, good enough display and the most important, it's price

I suppose 2700c doesn't support USB Port charging via MicroUSB Port. The MiroUSB Cable CA-101 indeed support USB Charging, but I think that feature doesn't exist in 2700c or 2730c, which has very different operating system with E52 that I know support this feature

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2010Can I use it as a edge modem?Yes, absolutely u can, if u want to use USB Cable, then look for Nokia MicroUSB Cable CA-101 (priced @ USD4.5), or you can connect your phone to your PC via Bluetooth, both I've tested and works well. If you prefer to use Nokia Connect to Internet @ Nokia PC Suite rather than setting the parameters manually on PC, it works well too. Connection rate fairly fast for EDGE enabled Phone, but if you compare it to HSDPA/HSUPA Phone and supported by network, it is way below. I've got 2730c (3G version of 2700c) too, and honestly, the connection rate is not too far away.
Btw, 2700c has Nokia Maps too, just like 2730c and so does a 1GB MicroSD Card in the retail package, so I must say, for USD 10 cheaper, the only difference between 2730 and 2700 is just the 3G network (which I don't really notice) and cheaper design (2730 looks more like 6700, hence 2700 looks more like 2323)

Nokia 2700 ! Okay for normal users!
But sms lovers! This mobile wont suit you! Cos it hangs when yo message more that two members at a time! And the another irritating thing is that it takes nearly fifteen minutes to reboot and message!
It hangs nearly ten to twenty times a day! Its really irritating! And when i watch video , it gets restart! Ve to wait!
Cheap but low quality!
THIS MOBILE WONT SUIT FOR HEAVY USERS! and its battery capacity is very low!

To all those who have trouble connecting gprs thru opera mini or other app, try to search on google for 'prov' files for your telecom operator.
You need to beam this file by bluetooth from any other phone to your phone.
Your phone will accept it as gprs configuration settings.
Use there settings as default settings.
Almost all apps like opera mini, google maps, etc. will work.
These settings are according to telecom operator not phone model and but obvious for nokia s40 phones only.
