Does it comes latest series 40 interface ... morewhat do you mean by old one of 5130??? 5130 is a new phn...and both 2700 and 5130 use S40 5th Edt FP1.
Firmwares are specifically made for each phn...so they will be different.

I have my Nokia 2700C on last thursday. And i am satisfied with it.Here is my experience which may help some people to opt for this phone.
Good :
Decent clear display (262 colour TFT)
Crystal clear stereo sound
Good BT connectivity
Battery life lasts for 2 and 1/2 days (1/2 hour talk, 15/20 min Radio, 15 min BT transfer, 15/20 min music playing)
Average sunlight legibility
Bad
Camera is slow, only still image can be rendered average colour is taken in bright day light.
Video is too bad
Conclusion : True value for money. People with a mid-budget phone in mind just opt for this one. Even if its not a music phone both ringtone and music player sound is enough clear and loud.

i purchased dis phone the day b4 yesterday a... moredont be stupid yaar..5130 and 2700 uses same cam unit and cam software...they both have same quality
however 2700/5130 cam is better than others like 5310, 3500 and 6300.

i purchased dis phone the day b4 yesterday and its camera quality is amazing...comparing it with other 2 mp camera phone like 5130 etc, its camera quality is much much better...and i think u must be using dis phone under dim light dats why u r having doubts about this phone..but actually this phone is a gr8 fone wid everything in this range...

the camera clarity of nokia 2700 is the worst i have ever seen.but nokia annouced it to be 2.0 megapixel.but it work like a 0.3 megapixel clarity.compared to camera and video recording the worst one is video.really its true .even a low brand nokia phone camera will work better than nokia 2700.

Another area is d keypad-
I've tried both of 'em-2700 n S3310 n I found d 2700's a lil weird.
Its flat n glassy...is blind typing a problem?
The samsung's is conventional n seemed fine.
BTW, is thr any other option apart frm these 2 tht I cud chk? (Dont say 5130, I'm sick of it n don wanna buy tht!)

Hello 2700C users. Howz the keypad on this fone? Is it hard and difficult to message coz the fotos show it to be flat keypad. Also which color is gud? black, mahogony or gray?
