Thanx..ya..now it's been cleared to me..also now I ha... morei don't think the difference of price between the two mobiles is 560 Rs.. there is a difference of nearly 800 Rs. Features wise both mobiles are same. The only advantage 5130 offers is that it's a music phone with dedicated keys. If you want really good music then go for 5130 else choose 2700c. performance wise both are same and does excellent job.

Anonymous, 07 Aug 2009hi, y it doesn't need antivirus. i didn't understand. pls e... moreBuddy, vulnerability to viruses depends on the level of programability of the operating system (like windows or symbian series 60), now if the host OS is not very highly programmable, like the Nokia series 40 OS (found on this fone), then the software available for the fone is quite limited, and the same applies for viruses.
So if the viruses for Nokia series 40 OS don't exist, why on earth would you need an antivirus?? ;)

hi pls can anyone tell me how much time ur battery takes to get fully charge . mine takes 2 hrs to get fully charge. i always charge when the device shows battery empty. is it normal pls anyone rply.

Nokia 2700c box does not contain the PC suite CD. you can download it from the internet. it's a 30MB file. I have already downloaded it and connected using bluetooth.

no there is no cd in the box. there is 1gb memory card free which already 300-350mb filled by songs from the company.....
now talking about the battery backup. my battery backup is 2 days......
in this i have listened to music for 2 hours 40 minutes.
1 hour 30 minutes on loudspeaker and approximately 1 hour on headphones. played games for 30 minutes...
30-35 minutes of talktime... clicked 10-15 photos...
10 mb bluetooth transfer. 10 minutes of radio. so i think battery backup is alright
phone has very nice crystal clear display, looks are very good, music quality and level is much better than 3110c and camera is also good

well, it's been a week since am using this phone now so can give idea about it's battery backup. well, it's giving me a backup of 2 and half days now with normal usage. My normal usage includes 2 hours of talktime, sending 100 messages and around 15 mins of music. That's definitely good battery backup.

Don't be worried about the backup man. Battery discharges very very soon if you listen to music with the speaker's. Try with the headphones and let us know your feedback.
There are not many negatives with this phone. It's an excellent device for it's price. Overall am very happy and have no complains as of now.

Dude there's no such thing such as an initial charging for Li-ion batteries.
Even i have read the same links that Rockr posted due to all the discussion about it here.

I think you were bent upon the idea because of the one bloke on cnet forums who had said this same thing of 12 hr charging. Please be advised there is no proof of it doing any good than harm.
