its a very good fone ,but installing software slows it down drastically.very annoying! Drped it in water 1tym but wen dried worked fyn !

The Nokia 2760 is one of the best value for money phones to have in terms of what it gives you in return. It is cool, yet basic phone simply because it is of a clamshell design. Who doesn’t love clamshell phones!? It is an all-rounder phone with almost all the basics of modern phones covered.
Let’s see what the good things about this phone are.
First of all, there is the price. Almost anyone can afford this phone on their first ever pay check. That’s how cheap it costs. Because of its size, you don’t have to worry much about trying to squeeze it in between your jeans trouser pockets. It is very light and with two screens it also mean that you do not have to activate anything or press any buttons to see the time as the external screen always displays the time according to the user setting. The colour screen quality is quite good too. Depending on how you treat it, it does not need to be charged as often as many other phones of its calibre also. Phone memory is acceptable and in terms of text messages, there is enough memory to keep your messages for months before you have to start deleting a few to regain some free space. It is easy to navigate through the menus and comes with about three permanent games. I would advise buying it in total black as it is the best colour for this phone if you do like style, or the default brown and grey as these colours are better at hiding the eventual discoloration of the phone due to moisture and other factors. It comes with a massive library of default sounds and tones for you to choose from, all of which will get your attention immediately due to the enhanced phone speaker which is simply perfect both in terms of sound quality and volume. It has a protective cap for its charger and headphone jack which means that you can listen to the radio whilst charging the phone at the same time. It has a well organised menu with well-placed files and folders most of which will contain a shortcut to the Nokia website for Music, Themes, Pictures Etc. depending on which folder you have opened of course.
Now let us see the cons.
It is a bit slow to connect to the internet and general internet speed is basically average. So you do end up wondering why Nokia made such a fuss with putting tonnes of shortcuts leading to its site on this phone. It has a VGA camera which only performs at max when the room is as bright as a Fluorescent bulb. The Phone is mostly suited for ladies because the keypad is so small that the average male might end up pressing two keys rather than just one due to the small distances between each key and the width of each respective key. You only get Stereo when listening to the default sounds and tones. The FM radio received is actually more mono than stereo unless you live next to the main radio broadcast tower. The receiving capabilities of this phone are also very poor both in terms of radio and telephone signal. Out of a total of ten radio stations you would be very lucky to pick up eight. Telephone signal depends on the wall thickness of the room you are in or the direction you’re pointing too. You will likely spend more time walking and turning in circles to receive a descent signal reception rather than having the signal find you. Because the charger and headphone jack are on the top, it means that when the phone is open, they obscure the camera lens. Therefore it is not possible to take a picture of someone or something of interest whilst listening to music or radio because you end up taking a picture of the headphone connector instead. That is a terrible design flaw. Even though it does have a few Megabytes of memory it is very hard to actually fit one song, let alone two. And even when you do, the phone is unable to play it in stereo, only mono. The headphone protection ring does tend to fall apart on certain phones and the speakerphone is simply a wasted effort. The speaker that plays tones so nicely is terrible during speakerphone and even with the phone at only thirty centimetres from your mouth you need to raise your voice louder than you might normally have to in a normal conversation. The Bluetooth feature is very tricky at times. You might end up thinking that it does not work at all until you really dig in and realise that it does. Bluetooth feels more like an option rather than a feature of this phone. Even with more than 6MB of free space this phone is relatively slow to open folders and exit applications. It might take up to 6 Seconds or more at certain times. This is especially true when it comes to pictures taken by its own VGA camera and default Nokia games, which is rather strange.
At certain instances you do feel cheated for buying this phone, but then you realise that it actually didn’t cost you much of a penny in the first place. It has all the common multimedia functions of modern phones plus internet capabilities, on top of that it is colour screen and in the form of a cool clamshell. You even get spoiled with a selection of casings of which to dress this phone up to make it look even cooler. Besides, Nokia is an established phone brand name. This means that means that the chances are high that this phone will work for years to come before sending it for repairs if you are good to it.

It's good phone especially meant 4 ladies. It has long life battery. It has some disadvantages: poor fm reciev., slow in web browsing, does not av music player, can't open more than one appl at a time, don't av memory card. Out of fashion!
