My wife still has the phone. Perfectly functional..
Except proprietory USB protocol for Contacts Download.
Hopefully, I'll find the workaround.
That was way more streamlined and easier back in 1990-ies when I had my first mob. device.
Anyway - fcuk all the "progress benefits". We're not on upwardly mobile freeway.
We're on the road to hell..

A Nokia 301 is a very good phone, and it can save over 1 million messages. I can understand that you didn't know about that.

Usual weak point on this model is the microphone, judging from two N301's I had. Gets weak and dies, and replacement is unfeasible. Also some counter-intuitive menus but solid MP3 player and FM radio, good battery. Plastic is terrible, outer frame literally falls apart after some years. Disappointing quality issues, unimaginable with pre-2010 Nokias...
