3100 is avery good phone even it doesn't have camera true songs etc. actually i've bought others after it but i still have it i love that phone it's so simple and nice it's a strong one too i won't sell that phone whatever happened

This is a tough little trooper, I love this phone...it has been dropped many times -to coin a phrase ' it takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin' I like that kinda strength in a product!
I love that I can get on line with the WAP feature, so I carry this phone anytime I'm going to the bank or any place where the waiting is going to be long & tedious -I have wap sites with various reading material and I can check the weather or send & receive email too so there is never a dull moment when I've got it with me.
A big selling point for me was its small size - it can fit in a small wallet plus it has a voice recorder - which comes in handy too.
All in all, the 3100 is a wonderful little phone

nokia 3100 has the potential taking into consideration its making and design. however it has problem with software upgrade and modification. i personally had one but couldn't repair it. i had to trade it for a hardware. thanks

Great X Great This phone rocks i swire i has it almost 4 years ago & still bearing my heavy usage this phone totaly strong i drop it more than 100 times and nothing happened except i changed the screen once coze i throw it at my house table very strong just screen changed i recommend every one to own this phone as master or emergency phone so if he lost or break other sucks phone he has the one who will save him keep going nokia we hope they produce one same as 3100 with more features I LOVE 3100 ;)

It's a good phone though if I activate Go to options the phone restarts. Is there anything that can be done to rectify this please assist

I love it. No defect if i drops many times. Memory not enough for this 3100. I'm still using it since mid 2003.

I'm using this phone since late 2003. A lot of fun using it. No defect at all even though drops many times. I love it very much. Only things not much memory can be save for telephone numbers.

yap :) I've also had that phone for 4 years now.Didn't have a single problem with it.And after 4 years of usage the battery got weaker,but 4 years is a veery long time :)Simple,light,great battery and nice keypad and form.And ubreakable.I couldn't break it.Only changed the display once,cause I fell of the bike and the phone got smashed under me...I'm about a 100kgs so it naturally broke.But if u need a cheap phone,with an exellent battery and no space-age features - that's the one!

yo! i've had this fone for almost four years now.. i really cherished this fone and admit that he really served me good.. dropped many many times and still workin.. after four years this fone still works perfectly.. even the battery.. well, just want to say thanks to this fone.. coz now i'm getting a new one.. bye!..

for 1year i used this handphone and i felt like
it is a brother to me.but suddenly it is kaputt(german word: translation in english: defect) so i bought a new nokia 6680. but still my heart is attached to the less smarter nokia 3100.the best handphone that i'd ever own in my life.

hmm..this mobile is absolutely fantastic...hav dropped it a million times...one day fell down and was opened into pieces still goin strong...really a rock mobile...those who need to recieve and make calls..guyzzzzz this is the phone for ya....

my phone has fallen may times and still working in perfect order alots of people told me to buy a new phone but i just love my phone to much to depart with it most dependable

I have used my 3100 for almost 4 years now. In that time it has been washed (washing machine), drowned in the sea, bashed about snowboarding and mountainbiking and all it ever needed was a clean off and it is still working today! Reluctant to get a new phone as I don't think any will take the abuse I give my phones. Don't neeed a camera (got a nice digi cam) don't need a mp3 player - have a walkman, don't need it to access the internet - have a laptop. All it needs to do is make and receive calls and send the occasional text.

It was my first choice when my dad surprised me with the news that I was getting a new (colored!) phone when I was 9 years old. Colored phones weren't really popular in my school back then so I didn't really know much about them. I got a 3530 anyway.

Nokia 3100 is great phone . Used it for one and half years but it accidently fell on floor and opened to peices , didnt break put it together but cant power it on again .
Am looking for a new Nokia model with atleast WAP and Bluetooth wat do recommend?
