It's actually quite a good phone.
After having it for about 6 months. It got really bad water damage. It didn't turn on. I let it sit and blow dryed it. And it worked fine. Except the power button was being pushed on its own due to the water damage. But later it worked.
It had 2 more water damages. And It's still working perfect. I'm sad to say I'm getting rid of it tommorow.

hello i am from india.i buy this phone at Rs.3600 in india two months ago. i ue as modem. it support CA-42 ot DKU-5. If u have any problem u mail me.It provide great speed. Downloading is so fast.Camera at this rate just wow ,specially the Resolution of photo is better 640*480.Displat is fine,i like it's side light so much.it's great phone in it's category.if any problem mail me.

Hi Friends
I searched whole forum for any hint about nokia
3220 settings as modem on windows pc. i have
pc suite 6.83 installed, and a ca-42 cable.
My 3220 is detected by pc-suite and file tranferring is ok. But i am unable to use it as modem. Gprs already activated on my sim.
Pls help if anyone know about it.

Am i the only one to notice that a lot of DUST gathers easily between the display? however it's no big deal only needs frequent cleaning.I've had this phone for a year now, and apart from it freaking out a couple of times(easily fixed by it switching off-and on again) it has performed OUTSTANDING. Every day a better and better phone turns out, but i'm sticking to my 3220

Can anyone tell me how to get the volume back on everything on the phone? the volume and sound is on but it does not make any sound when it rings vibrate is swirched off and can't hear any ring tones either?

I've had this phone since august 2005. i've dropped it MILLIONS of times and it has NEVER turned off or done anything crazy. this is a very durable phone and everyone should have it!!!

Nokia 3220 is a very fantastic and wonderful phone with very low prize. I am using this since last 4 years.
Forget about it's all others features. It's connectivity with pc or laptop is great. (Such as nokia's other costly phones...).
For using the internet on your pc u need a DKU-5 cable, windows xp operating system & Nokia pc suite software. your computer will found ur mobile as a modem. Now u can make a dial up network with ur ISP or mobile operator company. u will got speed at 230.4 Kbps (It is a great speed). This phones GPRS :Class 10 (4+1/3+2 Slots), 32-48 Kbps; HSCSD : 43.2 Kbps, EDGE: 6,177.6 Kbps.

hi
1st the screen is fine & it's brightness is OK.
2nd keypad is comfortable with hand
3rd lovly finished
4th only one Error with this device have no Blutooth or infrared & RAM are too little

The only flashy thing about the phone is the flashy lights which aren't even customizeable. Should have had torch, FM radio like 3200. For a phone that was an upgrade of 3200, a real disappointment. Don't even consider this phone if you need true tones, wireless connectivity and/or a decent camera

Oh, and it does have amr ringtones but there isn't really any way of getting more of them on for free.

This phone is quite good- i've had it for 2 years and it still works but it's very behind in many areas. Now I want a phone with bluetooth and mp3 and more memory, because you can only store about 10 photos, which is really annoying. Overall it was great as my first mobile.

i had this fone since last 1 yrs n till now i hvent face even a single prob ......its wonderful..........
i luv it.........its old but still i dnt wann change it......
though it doesnt hve bluetooth but still its rocking.........

I brought this phone for something like 200 $ in june 2005.in less than an year the price is come down to below a 100 $. i was never very happy with the phone. looks very girlish. the battery goes to zero directly from 4 bars. the rubber that is there at the side comes off in less than 3 months. i think they made only 2 phones, one was a prototype that nokia made to test it and the other one was the one i brought. very disappointing phone. nokia can do better.

can someone please help me im desperate, i dont know if its a setting on this phone or a fault, but when i get a message it doesnt display on the screen 1 message recieved the only thing that informs me is the noise or viabrate but im usually away fromt the phone so how am i supposed to know i have a message i would have to check in my inbox and it gets really annoying please tell me i can fix this my email is elf_f1@hotmail.com

I love this phone i have it over a year and it's great i just upgraded reluctanly because i wanted bluetooth and mp3 and i got the samsung t619 and i hate it! im back with my old nokia. My cell company does not sale them anymore so im looking for a cheap prize to get another one or at least the sides and the covers! i think nokia should redesign this one adding the mp3,bluetooth and camera and they will have a customer for life in me! i have dropped this phone so many times in the pass year and have never had a problem with it working!

i got mine jan 2006, but now every time i knock it it freezes up then shuts off, so im getting rid of it. poor memory, and my battery life isnt so good. i thought it was a good phone.
