I've got this phone from Virgin pre paid (Aus). Picked it up at Big W for $179. This is a good fun phone with lots of great features. At a cheap price it represents good bang for buck. Highly recommended for kids or teens.

I'm waiting for my fourth 3220 in 30 days. After a weeks worth of usage my 3220's headset icon comes and and is no longer usable without a headset. Its like clockwork, use it for a week, see the icon, call T-mobile, order replacement, repeat. Of course, T-mobile's hands are tied and say there is nothing they can do, but follow the manufacturers guidelines, or I can *pay* for an upgrade, which I refuse to do. I can't wait for my contract to expire with these clowns, I'm just sorry I have 9 months to go.
Stay away from T-mobile and the Nokia 3220, unless of course, you're into that kind of pain.
Cheers.

i personally hate this phone. it is built like a toy. yeah it has lights. frickin yay. the little rubber pieces that light up have worn down after less than 6 months of use. now if you rub your finger across my phone, tiny rubber shavings come off. i just bought it for the camera. it does indeed have a camera, but it's built like a toy. a toy to appeal to a 15 yo. kid with the lights, decals, and whatsis. i say spend the extra $50 and get a real phone.

Besides the solid construction and bright display, little else appeals. Detestable flashing lights adds nothing to value; almost nil memory and lack of irda/bluetooth/card slot make otherwise good camera largely unuseable. Verdict: Goes for the wooden spoon while rival phones get the gold.
