Its just been days when I got my 3230 and it has some dust behind the screen. It is not like the other nokis fons u can easily open and clean. Can anyone help me with this. Secondly I think the 6230 has better sound quality than the 3230 which I think should have been vice versa. I gues the next stop will be 3230i.

could the memory card be that fragile? i bought this phone less than 1 month now and while i was trying to save a picture yesterday i got the message "unable to save image" while i tried to access the memory card, the message "memory card corrupted" came to my screen and since then i've not been able to access my memory card, in fact i lost all the data in it. i tried formatting it but my phone hangs each time i tried that unless i remove the battery and replace it before it comes back. could it be a virus attack cos i dont have an antivirus on my phone yet and which is most prefferable among the anti virus softwares. pls someone should talk to me.

help me guys!! my nokia 3230 is screwed up. when i turn it on, after the nokia sign and the shaking hands clip, the screen is screwed up. its off centered. does anyone have any suggestions on what i should do? i tried everything already but it none has not worked. HELP ME!

hi, did anyone know got any software that can convert movie file from rmvb format to avi format?
i had movie in rmvb format n i wan to change it to avi format so that i can copy it to my handphone n watch it by smartmovie...
if anyone know the way pls tell me... i will very appreciate... thanks first...

i am using this fon for long everything seems to work except messengre. I have tried using few they open up allright but dosnt get connected. Plz if anybody is using any msngr to play msn or yahoo plz help me out. I'll b gr8full.

maybe the latest firmware might have improved the mp3 sound a little. the time when i had this phone the mp3 sound was SO bad made me wonder why nokia can make phones with such mp3 quality. if u listens to it yourself, and u listens to other phones like SE, motorola, samsung, or nokia 6630/6230i/6681, u will understand how bad it sounds(i dont know about how much the latest firmware has improved it but i is referring to the past firmware i uses when there is the beep sound). SO, just because its a phone, is not an excuse. nowadays a phone can very well produce mp3 quality comparable to a standalone player, if it wants to.
the only nicer thing about this phone is its got a 1.23mp camera(provided u dont mind the picture loading speed)and it is a symbian. unless u dont care about the mp3 sounds at all, it is recommends not to get this phones.......thanks u

Well I use Nokia 3230. It is quite OK. Sometimes restarts, mp3 volume is not great. It may be due to mono speakers but with stero headphones is it imporves, I still cannot add anything to GO TO unlike the older models, bit slow in processing, diffcult to operate with one hand!!.

Hi everyone. I want to buy a cell. I cannot decide between Nokia 6600 & 3230. Someone please help me decide, because everyone has only good things to say about 6600 on this site,and lot of negative comments on 3230. Should'nt 3230 be better as it is a "latest' model. Someone,do sthrow some light...Regards

hi all i'm using a 3230 set.Is there any way to listen stereo(mp3) effect in this mobile,i'm not satisfied with the mono performance.does updating the OS fixes this or it can't be helped.

nokia 3230 i got it before one month.i liked it very much because it provides me something great.it's shape is also too good that i cannot forget.

Hi, I was about to buy this phone and after reading the reviews i have decided not to buy. I thought of compromising on the design as the features the phone offered were tempting but thanks to your reviews... I am not buying it..

U can't get bigger thumbnail from the original phone feature. Get a program called FSCaller (preferably v3.03 and above coz the older version have lousy graphics) for fullscreen image display.

Can someone help me on this:
I've try to add thumbnail in contact name and when that person call me, the picture of the caller is too small,how to enlarge the picture?
Thats all...so far the phone run smoothly, only few days after i bought the phone it restart by itself, but now it's ok.

Love this phone but not at when i saw it first. i don't favor it's design but the features are considerable on a low price symbian here in RP. those people saying it's a waste phone, i didn't agreed...
their phone acts like that because of their daily use without taking care of them. am i right? use the phone and take care of it. and for software problems there is one help for that, upgrade the firmware to a newer one it can fix it's difficulties right? but why when i used it, the unit doesn't show any problems even though i'm using it for a year since it was released

From the fist day i bought this phone (7 months ago) and maybe two ours of using the phone (the first day) i noticed some things that i didint like with the phone:
1: The beep sound before you get calls and so on.
2: Some few restarts the phone did by itself
3: Looooooooow ring volyme
4: When u take a picture with camera it will take about 5 secounds before you can see the picture.
5: The phone is a little bit slow
6: No vibrate in silent mode
7: Mp3 not good
And in about 3 months my joystick broke.At that time i got very angry and called this for a crap phone and waste of money.So i went back to my Nokia 8850.
In December i desided to take the phone back to the store i bought it from so they could update the firmware and fix the joystick.
After the update (27-12-05) i noticed that the beep sound is not so loud anymore.And i can have vibrator on in silent mode. And ofcourse i got my joystick fixed, but i think it will broke again in about 3 months. But my phone still restarts sometimes.
The mayor "problem" is the stupid MONO mp3 player.I meen its so frustrating. Me and my friend have the same mp3 song in our mobiles but he has the samsung e730 and it sounds alooooot of different and better with stereo.
(You will only have stereo sound with the headset when you are listening to mp3 or fm-radio)
If you want a phone with good mp3 go for another phone. But still if you want this phone because of the design or something else it will get annoing with the Mono mp3 in the future TRUST ME!
I recommend to you all who whant to buy this phone to NOT do that misstake!
