This has no smart keys, no auto keylock facility, no stopwatch!, MP3 not good. I think this mobile is not giving us Value for our Money. Number of keyins to open any application is frustrating.
I have buyed this mobile just 4 days back & lot of dust has gone inside the screen, i don't know how to clean it.
I think, I have made a wrong choice by buying this set.

really poor sound quality!
if you are after for a cool phone that plays good music don't buy this one, also it only has a 6 MB internal memory and packaged w/ 32mb card you will be forced to upgrade it

the phone ie tigth.been using it 4 a month now,no problems wit it yet and am not hoping to have any.jst take ur yime to understand it bt my best advise is to get a larger mmc for maximum satisfaction.good work nokia

to all that want to buy or confuse about this phone read this...
i have use this phone now for 3 month and when i just buy it was very FULLY buggy (much bugs was in phone)
but after i have update the software in care center everything went to be fine and i have found this phone is much greater than any1 else so i recomended to that say this phone is poor just update to the newer version
only thing that i don't like in this phone just the sond is MONO and never can be sterio by any software cause thig is about hardware

Just purchased it yesterday, with newest software version. Sound is poor, as mentioned..so be it! But, the IR doesnt work right, it sends, but doesnt receive, nether with PC of other phone. Is this software or settings ? Overall it is pretty good.

nokia 3230 with ver 3.05 ...no vib,,no mobile tv no streaming.
upgred to 4.026 ok...sms silent viberate, mobile tv 60% ok, streaming 60% ok ,before no.
now want to upgred to ver 4.37 not yet arrived in malaysia...hope mobile tv and streaming ok.

Hi guys, I am seriously thinking of buying the 3230 but am confused since every boby seems to have some or other sort of problem with this model,
please help.... let me know is this phone worth buying. i am looking for a phone which can handle Games well and also play MP3.

been using this phone for months, and i'm v happy with my phone. the camera is good.but sometimes it does hang a little bit and need a few restart, and the sound is baaad... it will b almost perfect if i know how to change the casing. the original casing is in a very very bad condition.hiks

Can anyone help me with my hp cos when i put mp3s into my phone it doesn't appear in my gallery and i'm sure i went to the right place(i.e. the memory card folder) to search for my songs.
By the way, i accidentally deleted the digital sounds folder in my phone, is that the reason why my mp3s are not showing up? If so, can anyone tell me wad to do?

I hv gone thru the few comments on this phn. I need to change my cell and 3230 is somehow top on the list due to features it is providing and the cost. But confused after reading the reviews on this. ???????? Hanging issue is in all 3230 sets or its in fews sets? Shld I consider this phone or drop it?

Hi Guys,
After seeing all the responses of people. I would just tell what i did.
I went to a Nokia Showroom and bought the phone with Bill & Warranty. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM GRAY MARKET. Buy it legally it doesnt cost us more if we buy it legally.
Then after purchase i immediately went to an Authorized Nokia Service Center which was very far away for me.
I went there and told them i need to upgrade my firmware, they immediately did it in just 15 min.
After this my phone is the best thing i ever have. Nokia people gave their prompt response and solved my issues.
Now i am enjoying all the features of the phone. Emails, Camera, Pictures, Games.. etc etc. I am happy with my phone
Just upgrade your firmware from the nokia service center and you are done.
NOTE: Before you attempt this, my recommedation is to backup all your contacts, messages, pictures, videos on a pc or some where so that incase of a disaster while upgrading you may lose the data. Though this is rare and chances of this happening are 0.1%

Guys,
All of your problems can be solved by upgrading your firmware. I have been reading all over the net about complaints on this phone. But once you upgrade your firmware to 4.0537.0 then it works all ok.
