Hi! I registered with dotsis. But when i try to download something with opera or netfront in my phone they download .php files with only 3 bytes of size and so .Can anyone help and how can i download using phone please help

Yoz guys..A cure for mono mp3 player in 3230..u can download an mp3 application from dotsis..i've tried it and d sound quality is so much better..louder..and 1st time stereo sound is comin out of 3230 thru headphones..
Don believe me? well..since we can listen to radio in stereo thru headphones, y nt mp3 files? haha

There is absolutely nothing at all wrong with this phone, its fantastic. The beep is no problem for me i an fix it later on. As for the dust i had the 6230i and i hade dust on the LCD on the first day, i had to keep cleaning it then i got sick of it, as for my 3230, had it for 4 weeks and not a single spec of Dust. 6230i kept restarting and 3230 not a single prob..I reckon 3230 heaps Better..As for Stereo sound ive had them both and the 3230 sound's clearer to me...:)

Got my Nokia PC Suite 6.5 from

It's about 22mb though and work only with WinXP

Remote Control Program?? Go to that place I told u earlier. Look under bluetooth/infrared tools section. I'm using the one posted by someone called hubmobile.

What a pity, today the Nokia Care Road Show reach my hometown (Sabah, Malaysia). Went there and got them to clean my screen dust. I asked them if there's a solution to the dust problem and the answer is no. Was hoping there's new firmware but as per them, my current firmware V3.0510.0ch (I presume the "ch" means with chinese support version) is oredi the latest... so no new firmware for me. I ask them about the beep they said they know lot of people complain about it but currently still no new firmware to correct that yet. Oh well...just wait and see what will happen in few months time....

Yoz..i hv one 3230 myself..abt d beep tone b4 rcvin msgs or calls..i found d sound file using FExplorer..its in d Z-drive..i tried deletin it but it cant be done..So..
Anw read frm Ali Dogar here tt d new OS version for dis 3230 doesnt hv beep.Izit true/official?hmm...time2upgrade?

Another ting..Since 3230 plays radio in stereo, it shud oso be able2play MP3s in stereo rite?Hmm...maybe dere's a way2configure it..Ya?

hello everyone,
maybe my questions have been answered in the past but i cannot find the answers... i try to send files from my omnibook XE3 portble (old model with win 98) and sometimes i succeed using the irda. it connects and it disconnect ever few seconds. when the 3230 starts d-loadin it does it all the way. if i add a second file it continues. BUT it does not agree to send my photos to the pc. what have i done wrong

does anyone know the cheapest place to get a new rs mcc card? coz 32mb just not enough! its already tellin me memory full when i try and send things by bluetooth...and i only have 7 pics and 2 music files..?! am i saving them to the wrong place to start? cheers

New OS Version is here @last its 3.10. No beep before ringtone, fone doz vibrate for sms allert on silent. Cheerz!!!!!!!!!

Officially if I remember correctly, the built-in camera program max zoom is 3.3x. But with 3rd party software u can get up to 8x or even 10x. However, there's no point having higher zoom coz pic quality is lousy since it's not optical zoom. I personally think 3.3x is more than enough. (PhotoRite SP's choice of zoom is 1x 2x 4x 8x)

Hope u come back and read this coz lazy to email u. Yes, 3230 has irda (infra red) and it has been asked as well as answer at this place many times. U don't trust ur what u read?? I even installed a remote control program in my phone... too bad so far I only manage to control my sony video player. Too lazy to search for the user-define file for other equip like my TV, Hi-Fi, DVD and so on..

N3230 is very nice ,can any one tell the exact specification of Digital ZOOM level in 3230. comparing to N6670 with 4X zoom N3230 has less or more zoom level.

U have to unzip them. It will either be a java file with .jar ext or a symbian file with .sis ext. There are two ways to install. One using the nokia PC suite. Open the application installer and install the file accordingly. Another way is transfer the file over to a folder in ur phone (better a folder at ur memory card) by accessing from the phone browser (u can see from the My Computer after installing PC suite), or use a card reader and transfer to the memory card. Then using the File Manager of ur phone, just open the respective file and installation will that place.

BTW, I want to warn u that some game from www.nokiagamez.com can't run on 3230 (not compatible). And the MidNight Pool downloaded from here always make my phone reboot. Get midnight pool from dotsis website better. The new splinter cell are cool game. XIII is not nice. Oh yes Sky Force is cool and u get the most from our 3230 phone coz it has mini joystick (6600 is not the only one now muahaha) where u can do diagonal motion (i.e. up+left/right or down+left/right) with ease. anyone with the phone, can u please tell me, can you zoom in and out while recording video and can you switch the message memory from the phone to the memory card? thanks

Ok listen i dowloaded the files but now their present just as zip files how do i send them via usb and can i play wiht the games on my computer and oh ya i dwonloaded like 10 theyre XIII splinter cell siberian epi and 2 rainbow 6 prince of persia and like i mean can i see examples of them

Some of the links here is not in English though and most of them r not that up-to-date. I did get quite a numbers of great games from http://www.nokiagamez.com/ though.

Nokia 3230 is the style i like coz the screen big and the software is user friendly.
A lot of thing this 3230 can do. Just the ring is too low
