Bought this phone recently n it's cool.Just I need info,could anyone out there tell me what PDF reader for it. And what's the download site and is it free???? TQ to all the cool brothers out there!!!

of course you can. the software is "quickoffice" there is word,excell,powerpoint inside. you can download from emule or somewhere else :)

This phone is cool though there is a prob ib transferring large file through bluetooth as there is only 6MB of phone memory.Is there anywway to overcome that??also the battery is not as good.I don think this phone supports EDGE. all and all this phone is ok. camera is good. just that the internal memory is not enough.

Hey guys,
This phone is just perfect for me to buy.
But there is something I want ot know about it first:
Is it possible to put a softwear on it so it can read PDF, Word and Excel files?
And if there is such a thing, where can I get it?
Plz answer me so that I can decide between 3230 and 6670.

Has anybody any idea why when you try and send a file via bluey no matter hao small the phone say's memory full when i have 28kb free on the memory card? has anyone else had the same problem? anyone know how to sort it HELP!

when first I brought Nokia 3230, i love that 'beep' sound before the message tone or ringtone. It makes me act quicly before the full ringtone rings... But, this is maybe will make a show off people a bit down. Hehe...

Hello guys and girls. Just checking what standby time all of you are having with your 3230 phones... My 3230 works for 3.5 to 4 full days. On average I talk 10 minutes per day and play a little bit with the camera. I usually have full signal reception both at home and at work (= low power drain in standby mode). Not bad for a Series60 phone with a 760mAh battery.

Hi All
I bought it
There is a very unusual part that there is not :
1- rs mmc card convertor to mmc
2- pop port cable
3- cd for driver and nkia program
BUT
That is the best in my mind
there is another problem that the battry will finish in a few hour of working

For the last 2 years I am using 7250i, and has given me more satisfaction, and now Nokia has launched 3230, I have seen all the pictures, and is quite happy. This is an upgradation of 6600, So keep it up, and Thanks

nokia6620 which is available in australia has stereo mp3 player..and it is symbian v7.0..(info from GSM Arena)so its not depends on Symbian OS..it depends on nokia phone designer weather want to make it stereo or not..

what i posted before about sound quality is sound via stereo headset..i knew loud speaker wont make stereo sound coz it only has one speaker n the speaker hole is so tiny to be compared to nokia7610..

Stereo is not done by software, it's hardware... The phone doesn't have stereo speakers...
The RADIO is ALSO MONO, repeat, MONO,... You hear STEREO quality is because you USED the STEREO headset, repeat, STEREO headset (dual earphone)... Try using the normal headset (MONO headset), you will hear MONO quality, or put LOUDSPEAKER for RADIO, you will hear MONO quality...
Hence, for MP3 quality sound, use the STEREO headset... This issue is same for other Nokia phones with MONO speakers...

U do know we can view pic in full screen using nokia's original pic viewer right? Just press * and u will go to full screen mode. But then u need to press 1 or 3 where u get to turn the pic anti-clockwise and clockwise... and u need to do it 4 every pic.
I got myself Photorite which is a good photo taking program. But it's also got a nice viewer where u can choose to use full screen and it will always display full screen as u scroll through all pic files. It will automatically resize all pic to full screen too. The best thing is u can also run slide show using the same program. Only it doesn't have any background music. Read my previous post to see where u can download that program. :-)

Has any 3230 owner been able to remove the covers.They might be fixed with small screws which can be removed with the help from any clock repair shop.If the dust can't be removed then what's the use of such a great phone.Also what would be the case if the cover cracks or is accidently damaged or camera lens glass is broken???If Nokia care centres can clean the duston the LCD that means the covers can be opened somehow.I can see many diff color covers available for N3230 on ebay.
