is there any way to make this phone faster? i had it for 6 months now and i never experienced any problem with it until now, it's really slow now and it's rather irritating since i have had other phones that are really fast ie 3250...
my brother says that probably the only way to make it faster is to have its software upgraded, can anyone tell me if this can make this phone faster?

hi,am having having problem with my nokia 3230,the bluetooth is not working,the setting is not working,the phone keeps showing sim memory full and i have almost no data on iti use a 1gb mmcard,cant send or recieve text messages and the phone goes off by itself and takes almost eternity to boot on.can anyone help me out with these problems.pls reply at harrii@perfspot.com

oh my! its quite nice. wahahah. the only cool about this phone is its image quality! nice photos will surely be given by this phone but the memory? dont even bother asking!! p00r memory and slow. you cannot put 1GB memory here. gee. sigh. that is all i can share so think about this. :)

install smartguard pro full to hide al u want wd password. U can hide not only messages bt includes gallery images and video clips, call logs, contacts etc. Even incoming and out going msges. Nobody can read it except u hu no ur password. Install to memory card

no usb port? i tink d remedy is to install anti virus to ur memory card by means of a computer and insert it on ur phone to scan and clean any virus

i wanted to am trying to send music to my phone 3230 and i have a 1gb memory card but the music cannot be sent to the memory card it only goes to the the phone memory please help, also does this phone have privacy code to lock my messages or a reject list to lock the calls i dont want

got this nokia 3230 for almost 2 sacrificing years now..=)
the sound is bad, the irritating beeping sound before message tone and a phone call..
but for software downloads? this phone is cool.
how can i turn off the beeping sound when a i have message or phone call coming?
if you know how pls post the answer here.. thanx!

I think my Nokia 3230 has a virus. I was trying to send a picture from my 3230 using bluetooth to my blackberry, so while it was on, it detected another person's phone whose bluetooth was on. Somehow I accepted it and since then my phone hasnt been on for more than a minute. It comes on and then goes off. I understand that it has a virus and it has to be cleaned using a computer. The thing is, Nokia 3230 doesnt have a USB port, so I'm wondering how that is going to happen. If anyone has a solution, I'll be grateful. I can be reached at mmamma25@yahoo.com . Thanks!

I have been suing this phone for 1.5 yr. It is worst, it often hangs when you got a call. This is very bad as I missed very important calls. Now it is not having proper receiving. It shows full signal and immediately says no network coverage. If you restart, it will show full signal after a one or two calls again no network coverage. and you won't get signal even every body else in your sorroundings has full signal. And also it shows full battery and if you restart (sometimes by itself) is shows only 2 or 3 points. An Horrible experiene for me for that past 2 months. I switched to Motorola now.

I think nokia 3230 is most powerfull handset. I really love this phone. I have this phone for a long time. And, i have some tips for you...
1. If you dont want your 3230 hang, you must close every app. after using.
2. You need "AppMan" or "DevMan" app. for take care your RAM.
3. If you want your 3230 sound better, i suggest you to use "LCG Jukebox" app. and you set the equalizer to 'rock'.. You will have new experience.
The 3230 and other handset which have Symbian O.S. has many feature... Many developer make software for it. Also, it font can be changed.
I'm using 1Gb memory now. And, i think it's work very well. It's fine. Now, i post this opinion from my 3230. So, I conclude this phone is really good.

Lookwise it is stylish but it has got a lot of software problems
