I own this phone right now, and my friends and I use it to play catch. Seriously. :))
If you're thinking of buying this phone, please, DON'T, unless you change your phone every week.
I have valid reasons why I don't recomend this.
- It's friggin' slow.
- It shuts down for no reason.
- Speakerphone is loud, yet it sounds like crap.
- Camera is useless in low light conditons, even if you turn on night mode.
- Small memory.
- The silver color sorta wears off and becomes rusty and stuff.
- Mine has 2 dead pixels, and it ain't pretty.
- You have to charge it every other day for God's sake. :|
- Keypads make this tikkety-tak-tak noise.
If you say you don't really care about the features and stuff, then you're better off with a 5110. :)
But then, there are some things that I like about this phone.
+ Camera is good when there's ample lighting. I mean, it's good for a megapixel cam.
+ The games are freakin' addicting. Haha.
+ I left it in the trash bin, and it's still breathing. Geez. :|
+ It can fly 10 feet up in the air and still, nothing happened, it's still slow. :)
+ It got soaked in the shower a couple of times and it's still okay.
+ It fell down the stairs, it's still okay.
+ Lastly, my crush(es) held this phone. LMAO. :)) :))
So there, it's kinda tough and all, just really really slow, and some features are just crap. But I can live with it anyway. :))

hi
small amount of water entered my 3230 due to rain, but it was not so serious, the set was neatly warmed and water was removed, ten it worked for about 3 weeks.
then the firmware got corrupted it was displaying only nokia (not booting) and i gave it to servive centre for flash and for update.
but he made the set dead and returned telling water log problem and he cant do anything.........
the set is completely dead now and not at all switching on, plz any suggestions scrap me.....i lov my set ver much.......

To My,
To copy names and numbers from a SIM card to your phone, select
Options→SIM directory, select options "Mark All" and then select
Options→Copy to Contacts.

Just select the sim directory option in the contacts list, mark all and then select copy to contacts...........maybe one shld try to read the user guide once.........good luck..

Where are you? Can you answer my comments on copying entire address book to SIM? Looks like you have found just now that it can not be done the way you were saying. Before commenting on anything just confirm yourself to avoid becoming laughing stock.

I'm concerned with the incoming call alert,other than the historical nokia tune,the rest of the tones sound pathetic.Is there a way one can be able to have the tones play in ,mp3 format or true tones.Otherwise the phone is fantastic!

i am really having problem with the phone's internal memory. Is there any other way to free memory allocation even if I don't have any files in it? I know there is a system files allocated in the internal memory but still it says that almost 90% is already used up.. please somebody help me...

this phone was Suck!!!!! Bad Speakerphone, bad line in port (mono), bad camera pict Quality (taken with 1280x960 mode), and the worse is this toys didn't macth any games except java's..
btw i try to play FiFA 2005, but it wouldnt start.. I saw several Advertisement about 3230 that this gagdet can play FIFA's, even I have External bluetooth gaming stick....
