hey all.Last time i had this phone like 1 months. comment about this phone:
Sound Quality. : Poor.The sound is very very poor.n the sound is mono.
Imaging : Good.But slow at taking picture..
Loudspeaker : Stereo. even u use 1 way speaker,its still cool.
No Full screen. i mean when we want watch video,we cant view it wit full screen mode.
My fren keep teasing me about this phone..
but.after i bought nokia 7610.their 6680 n 6600 is called boring phone.bcoz my 7610 can beat their 6680 sound~ =D
hahaha.

there is a firmware version for 3230 newer than the
5.0604.0
you can check your firmware version of your nokia phone by keying *#0000# in standby. This january version of 3230 is better than the new one.. ( i just heard that )

your problem is simple and solveable. I have written the soluton down here for another 1.
And one more nokia has decide to withdraw their 32 series already.The 3230 3220 and even the new 3250 are the most complainted and defective phones of nokia.
I advice you to avoid 3230, unless you are addicted and go for some other.

To ryce,
Go to contacts, select the desired contact you want to assign a tone. Open the contact and in options there will be ringingtone.. All assignable tones are shown together in alphabetical order.. Select the one you like.

To Shanil ,I got the same problem as you!when I took any picture,it tell me that my memory is full you have to quit some software~but in fact the mobile phone still have many memory.I'm very puzzled.but when I close the mobile phone and open it again,everything is Ok.I don't know if this problem will happened again..I bought this mobile phone in Beijng.

I got my 3230 on the 3rd this month. Since then I'm really enjoying it and filling it up with a lot of glitz since I'm taking advantage of my 512 MB card. (smiles)
I think the latest version of 3230 is v.5 and above. Mine is v 5.0604.0 RM-51 made on January 23, 2006.

the problem is due to the filling of RAM MEMORY. Remember you are not suppose to close any application by hitting the red button. Infact it wont close . When you press the menu key for a while, a small popup comes in the left corner of the display showing all the applications running at the moment. You can scroll down to the applications and close them by pressing the c button. This is infact the taskbar of a symbian phone. Hope your problem is solved. Hi guys,
i am interested in buying this phone but saw the results of its camera that didn't inspire me at all. one of my friends have 6630 and its results are really great!!!
camera pictures of 3230 are slightly reddish in color plus dim and really bad in indoor!!! can anyone give me his comments based on his experience? plz mail me at pinkneedle@hotmail.com

I bought this phone a couple of days back with 512 MB memory card. But whenever I take any picture a message appears 'Memory Full. Close some application and try again'. Why is this happening. The memory card has still over 100 MB to spare. Can anyone help me?

first of all....i got this phone and it was great...no doubt. but dig this....coupla months and it starts to drag its ass and all....the speed is really slow and to make matters worse,it's developed a mind of its own. it restarts on its own...even when i'm in the middle of a call.it's really buggin me out.i thot it was like a virus or somthin but I aint the only one with this complaint around here...so go figure. the phone's aight...but still...a risky buy.

The MP3 Player is one of the draw back of this phone. The output is not stereophonic. Is it possible to convert the Mono output to Stereo?

Dear after installing MSVDRIVE you can save ur massage to memory card memory instead of phone memory.
