Somebody wanna have more space for sms,with special program you can save msg's to E: disk (MMC).You can find that program in www.dimonvideo.ru (only registered users,register free).Program name: MsgDriveE .It could be and in other websites.

This Prone is a good phone... For your queries about the memory... I would advise one to look out for this software "msvdrivee"... It transfers all the messages directly to the memory card...(So there is no problem of space on the phone)... And To set an mp3 as a ringtone you gotta save it on the card/phone. Have Fun

I loved the shape of the phone.I bought this phone in March.The thing which upsetted me a lot was the battery performance.The battery charge will hold good initially and once it starts coming down,it comes down to zero soon.
I went to Nokia care and they replaced the battery,but still the problem persists;but i got used to it.
The sound quality is very poor.You won't hear the phone ringing in a slightly noisy area.
The phone hangs and restarted often initially.I took it to the Nokia care and they upgraded the firmware to the latest one.Now,the phone doesn't hang and restart often as it used to do..
It has a good camera.The picture clarity is superb if the light condition is super...
radio is good and mp3 songs are good to hear in the headset.The phone's loudspeaker has mono output;so the clarity is poor...
I don't experience any problem with joystick.
It supports RS-MMC upto 1 GB,but i use 512MB.It doesn't hang.I think 512MB is ideal ffor 3230.
Phone memory is less-only 6MB.So,transferring big files over bluetooth is a problem..
You can find numerous applications for this phone on the net and can install it.

I have a problem with this phone. I received a movie clip via blutooth. But i cant transfer the file to clip file or Memory card. Its in the inbox...

Its a fantastic phone .i have had it for a year now.its camera is excellent.The connectivity is great.Battery life is good enough .The MP3 is good but the sound quality is average.This mob has all features u wuld dream abt.The only noly bad thing is that the silver color on the panel wears out...that gives a nasty appearance....

Positive:
Good professional Looks
Joystick better control
Negative : The Phone Hangs a lot and that to while reciving calls and too slow in accessing any programs
The colour of the mobile spreads and goes off
Can't receive big files due to 6mb internal Memory.
Can't hear music if u r travelling
Overall: Not worth for money.

Squall:
1st you just move tht particular file from message-folder by saving to any other folder LIKE anywhere in memory card. Now play tht file, when media player opened to play the file, press the STOP button, go to OPTION Manu there would be an option to “Set this tone as ringtone”. So finally select it

Great phone only the problem I faced with its 6 MB internal memory which is too short especially while transferring big files through Bluetooth. Overall I love it…

Nokia 3230, had it for about a year. A good phone to make phone calls on. And i know what your saying with respect to playing a game and hanging up on incoming calls...My Biggest Gripe is that it doesn't unload from memory properly and you end up with Memory Errors (which have basically caused my phone to be unworkable), even powering the thing off doesn't reset it and the Operating System doesn't respond ( due to the memory issues). Summary - Good phone - But the Memory Issues can kill the phone for a day or 2, which to some people is probably to long to be phoneless. Rgds Steve London

I have da 3230 4 bout 7 months n never had a problem so far. Im answering da Q of da memory card stuf. I hve 70 full songs n 65 videos bigger than a meg each and applications of 20Mb. So if u take out da videos n only put copressed music. U ken put bout 60 songs.

Hey people..i had da 3230 for a long tym..its a gr8 fone !!It does not hang up..I had a 512 mb card on it wid loadz of softwares and i neva had any problems wid it..but i think the joystick gets buggin l8r on...atleast i dint like da joystick anymore..And umm about battery life and stuff...Amazing battery life !!I used 2 lissen 2 music while goin 2 skewl and while cumin bak..dats abt 3 hrs in total..and nt charge it 4 two days easily..and messaging from this fone is very nice..Nice keypad and well bulit fone..

i have this phone for 7 months. here are some of the things you'll experience on this phone.
good things:
- design is very good and cool, easy to handle, good keypad and joystick
- features are great, visual radio, real one player, symbian software and a lot. a good organizer
- worth buying for non-3g users
bad things:
- if you have a lot of files and application installed on this phone, for sure it logs.
- poor loudspeaker for music since it is under mono speaker.
- bad camera when on video recording.
those are things you should consider when buying this phone. but for me, its cool enough for my own use.

hey just a little about this phone. This phone has great function and all. I kinda regretted not buying it now. But do it really have Instant Messaging? Like MSN?
