Hi viperkid.
I want to ask u dat what file format does 3250 support?And where frm i can get da new firmware virsion?When i dwnld something it says installation occoured.What is da problem?Should i reformat phone memory?Plz help me pleassse.Thnx in advance.

is it true that firmware version 3.28 for nokia 3250 is already available? where can i download it? what are the changes and improvements?

kalabala: Not all large number mean better.
in my opinion, you should go for the top headset, it offer 105 db, it's more safe to your ear than the other one 118db (it's very loud and could damage your ear neuron real bad, an average human have only 40000 ear neuron (braincell for listening)
Secondly, the resistance value in the top one is less than the bottom one (the horseshoe symbol - stand for ohms) -> topone it deliver clearer sound than bottom one
Thirdly, the top one have wider frequency range mean it open more to bass and treble, the bottom one is more limited and could have "click, click" noise when offeres at the range it couldn't perform.
definately recommend the top one

yup, there is something wrong with the auto focus mode, try to check the configuration. For me, i am using a v3x , it's manually configuration so i don't have any problem with close focus or taking image at further distance

To anyone who's planning to buy a Sony Ericsson instead of a nokia,try answering these questions:
1)Other than for highly priced sony cells,which sony has a speaker as loud AND clear as the 3250?
2)Can any sony cell play AVI clips?
3)Can any sony RECORD in mp3 format?
4)Can any sony cut and edit mp3 files(on the cell itself)?
5)Can any sony give you a web browser as advanced as the one on the 3250?(it has a mouse pointer too)
6)Can any sony have a scientific calculator?
7)Can any sony ZIP and UNZIP files?
8)Can any sony have WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER?
9)Can most sony's open powerpoint presentations and documents,excel documents and word documents?
10)Can sony produce a joystick as reliable as the one on the 3250?
11)Does any sony cell have in it an answering machine?
12)Can a sony search and even send system and hidden files??Can it also change its attributes?
Well, the answer to all the above questions is NO.
The answer to the same questions is YES for my 3250..
It must be noted that most of the above are possible due to the Symbian OS...
But i must agree that sony's camera quality is better than my 3250,as sony is more experienced in imaging...also, most sony's have a flash...
I asked my friend who bought a SONY k790i(The 3.2MP Cybershot cell,available for a price more than 1.5 times than that of the 3250 in India) the same questions above,and he was checking his cell to try and prove me wrong...He obviously couldn't answer them(My loudspeaker was louder!!we had an open test,and the 3250's was much much louder!!)...But then he started going on & on about the imaging capabilities in his cell..cant argue on that ,can i ? its not that nokia is bad in imaging,its just that sony's imaging is slightly better...
No hard feelings..just telling the facts..

i need ur help in something... from ur previous posts, i find that u have experience in headsets and u recommended 2 sets.. but i dont have any of them and i can't afford any of them at the moment.. so i have choice between 2 other sets..
(Sony MDR-A858MP ) which has the following specifications:
16 Ω impedance

The equipment has superior Wire about 0.8m.
the other set is
(sony TS-E079LP ) which has the following specifications:
It has audio response : 20-20,000Hz
It has 118 dB/mW sensitivity
It has acoustic impedance : 32 Ω
It has superb acoustics for Neodymium magnets
It has the largest power of 50 mW
well, i dont understand any of those things mentioned above!! so can u explain what those mean!! :) whether higher values r better or worse? lol, i know i seem funny but i dont really know which is better!!
so, if u can just help me in choosing one of them... by the way, i heard that samsung sets r also very good, some say better than sony!!

Actually, i think smartmovie is better than divX player, coz in divX,there's a sound lagging problem,which can be fixed in smartmovie.
In smartmovie,go to options,then in the AUDIO PREROLL TIME part, change it to 1.20 seconds.If you've used the smartmovie converter,then the sound lagging should go.Try it out...

@ Pratik....smart movie player and DIVX player r da same....only diference in them is....divx is freeware whereas smartmovie has to be registered....DIVX player is more preferred nw..as it does not have problems of cracking n all.....hope dis wz helpful

@ TINTIN,well if ur thinkin of comparin this phone to the w810i....3250 is better...in all major aspects...as heard frm ppl...the sound of w810i literally SUX!!...and as for the sound of 3250.....it ROX!!well i hav 3250 for almost 6 months now...i havent faced any prb of the twisting mechanism upto date...and i am sure it wont give prb's in the future also....by twisting to music mode...the music player does start automatically!!..Symbian is an operating system in mobile phones featuring good interface and variety of additional games and applications...it is one of the best O.S in mobile and is preferred majorly...3250 is equipped with the latest symbian operating system that is S60 OS 9.1(latest)....offering u more than the older ones....yes we can make our own themes @ www.ownskin.com....hope all this was helpful for...rest choice is urs!!!

Hey no one has rilly responded to this so im gonna post it again..can you help me out?
well im getting a new phone and like im more music than anything else but i aslo want a good camera so its either this or the w810 for me...so far i prefer this one becz of the twist thing it makes it SO much more original and reflects my personality...im just worried about the glitches that i heard about, in the review i read that when you twist it around the music player doesnt start automatically...has that problem been sorted out? and also what exactly is symbian...i dont really know, and what makes the one on this fone so amazing? Oh and can you make your own themes for it? if so how? thanks

no, the picture is not fully zoomend,the light is good, i-ve checked everything, i even formated the phone and i still have blurry pictures. i even took some pictures so you can see it for yourselves:

now i think there is something wrong with the focus of the camera... i guess i will have it repaired because its a good phone, and other than this i didn't have any other problems

regarding the update eror for the smartmovie i was also getting the same error..so first uninstall the previous version of smartmovie that u have installed in ur cell n then install the smartmovie given by ng.it will work then..
(n by the way thanx 2 u ng 4 posting the softwares ,the themes werent as cool though but the softwares were great...but there was an error with the skyforce reloaded link u posted..can u plz update that link?? also can u give the keygen 4 photorite??that 1 wasnt working..do u have the best settings for smartmovie coz the 1 i installed lags in sound.....thanx n keep posting similiar applications.)

Hey...
There is something that really annoys me.. the camera of 3250 is 2MP, but i can't feel it!! lets compare it with other nokia phones with 2MP camera..(am not comparing with SE!! but similar nokia phones)
N71 has 2MP camera but better quality photos!!
even the video , in 3250 the video is QCIF that is 176 x 144 , while in N71 its CIF that is 352 x 288 thats high resolution video!! and if u compare it with nokia 6280 then it captures video with resolution of VGA!! that is 640 x 480 !!!
The thing that makes me crazy that the 3 phones are 2MP, so the camera more or less is the same!! is it related to software?? is there any video capturing programs that can increase the quality of the photos or resolution of the video?
any hint guys??
