thanks 4 repling viperkid to my questions i want to buy any symbians 9 series 60 phone and in my range 3250 e70 and 5500 comes so plz suggest me what to buy i am not music oriented person 5500 has small display but has small size also so anyone plz suggest me a phone

Thanks for the reply.Yes i figured as much.And all those guys out there having a hard day trying to figure out whether 3250's loudspeker is louder than W810i/W800i yes it is! I HAVE used a W800i but quite frankly , the UI puts me off.
That 3250 is symbian phone is hell of a decider for me.
The only reason people think that walkman series is better at music cos they have far better bundled earphone IMO.
Compare 3250 with W800i with any standard earphones and u will see the point.

regarding the memory card thing and the missing themes/apps.
i figured you can view them just by turning off your fone and accessing the apps manager as soon as its on again.
no need to do the "remove memory card" thing.
i'm thinking of whether i should upgrade to .28,, i got a .23 and the only prob is the white balance stuff, i hardly use the camera anyway, but still it counts to have a fully well functioning fone...

if yer talkin about bluetooth wireless headsets, then i'll answer u with a yes, u can listen to music using BT headsets compatible minus d A2DP profile for stereo effect, it will play on mono only

3250 does not use miniSD cards, it uses microSD. as of now 1GB is available, but i know it can handle 2GB cards soon..

d blue ones r based on java (.jad or .jar app/games) whilst red ones r based on symbian technology (.sis or .sisx files/themes/games/app)

dat's normal for V3.23 below firmwares, it happens when u press music player then quickly pressing exit wyl tracks r loading, my suggestion is to place music plyr on d left softkey as a shortcut coz left softkey has a delay response. firmware V3.28 might solve dis prob. muzee player is like d default music player, only differs on its functionality and u can customize music plyr skin, i've downloaded d trial, but unfortunately d trial has problems, its not working! if d restarting thing happens more than 5 times/week, i guess u should hav ur unit checked up by nokia care. re lockcode, yeah its advisable if necessary to you but if u hav d auto keypad lock u might want to turn it off (unless u really like to hav a code when unlocking keys). i've tried activatin my lock code too (only 1 min) for 1 week and didn't see any problem so activatin it should not hav any negative effect..

i figured out how to remove the missing themes....
select remove memory card and remove iit from the slot and re insert it... quickly go to app manager and you will see the themes, its installers and even some 3rd party applications that used to be there but had gone missing. after a while you wouldnt be able to see them again so just repeat the process until youve removed things you dont want...
it saves you from reformatting the card and transferring the previously installed items there.

kabayan, whenever i go to app. manager, i see these icons right... the jigsaw puzzle with either blue or red box beside them. what's the meaning of this denotations???
and ive noticed that applications having the red box are those who always go missing after sometime? i would have to do the process above to remove them...

its like having ipod,nokia,windows all in this phone. so far the most practical and affordable unit for music lovers of this generation. store ur songs, play it privately or not, shoot videos, and look cool, cause the 3250 is tight!! its the best one out there, excluding the higher N series models. just like a ladies man, its smooth and wild at the same time!!

1)most of d themes from symbian.mobilethemes.com, mobile9.com r not fully compatible for 3250 resulting into to dat problems in uninstalling, so d best thing to do is to reformat ur card and press *#7370#" wyl on standby screen to remove em. take note dat all ur data/files will b deleted on microSD and internal mem so backup.
2) & 3)u need to upgrade ur firmware to V3.21 RM-38 OEM nokia in nokia care service ctr

as of now, i don't know any 3rd party camera application for 3250 yet, so there's no way to make its digiZoom better..

if ur plannin to get it from unauthorized distributors and some contracts from networks, i think u should not get 3250 as those units has problems but if ur plannin to get from nokia store directly or from any authorized dist., u should buy it!

i think 3250 will b compatible with 2GB microSD cards (even in nokia site it says only up to 1GB, remember wat nokia said about 6230's max capacity but then in reality its compatible with 1GB mmc) so i guess same thing with 3250! besides, 6131 uses microSD cards too and can handle 2GB ones..

yeah its right dat w800i's loudspeaker is louder than W810's but its far from 3250's loudspeaker, if u compare em side by side max volume each with d same song/track with same bitrate, etc (mega bass on, max treble on W800 wyl best equalizer setting for 3250 here:)

i swear 3250's loudspeaker is absolutely 10% clearer and 60% louder than W800! i can assure u dat, but don't take my word for it try it urself, if u live here in the Philippines u can try W800 at Smart Alimall and 3250 on Gateway mall and hear it in reality..

one thing more.. the zoom in 3250 is 4x, while the zoom in N70 is 20x .. and i want to say again that both r 2MP.. and both r not carl zeiss..so is it possible to boost the camera of 3250 and make it function like N70? atleast to make its zoom better and clearer.. the zoom in 3250 really sucks!!

ive got 3250 4 4months now n im totally satisfid wid it but 1 of my fren says dat dis fone is a flop no1s buyin dis fone cos its got software probs n its goin cheap in d 2nd hand market i feel down wen i here him

I was about to buy N 3250 but since there are many complaints here about the fone, i doubt that i'll buy it. should i or should i not buy it?
