if u really can't wait, u can sign up there and give "Betaboy" an email and hope he will respond to ur mail when he do, then u can b 1 of d testers of d beta version. also, i heard dat gmail accounts are not so welcomed, or is it just dat their server stamp it as a spam or some sort of a bulk mail..

gee, i'll try if i can use my PC connected to d internet and use dat connection to browse on my 3250 when connected thru usb cable.. i guess, its not really meant like dat, normally we juz use 3250 as a modem and use d GPRS/EGPRS connection via our network operators and use it to browse on our PCs.. dat's kinda cool, if dat's really possible..

normally, if u remove d microSD and insert it back again, all ur files must b still intact. did u properly remove ur microSD by first quickly pressing d power button and choosing "Remove mem. card" or after opening d cover, can u remember of "Closing applications.." msg? if not then u probably accidentally almost corrupted it! b4 u can install default programs without error, first u must reset ur phone to factory by pressing *#7370# and key in 12345 (default when asked), be reminded dat all ur settings, contacts, msgs and other files will b deleted so b sure to manually backup ur files on d internal mem using file mgr of PC Suite and not d "Backup" utiliy on PC suite as d latter will backup all uninstalled system files dat will result into errors once u restore it on ur phone, so juz manually backup ur data.. as for d settings, i guess u hav to re set all of it.. in case u don't know, u can backup ur contacts and calendar entries by going to Organiser > memory > options > backup phone mem. whilst pressing messaging > options > settings > other > memory in use > choose microSD or whatever d name of ur microSD, will save all ur msgs to microSD (only if this is d first time u switch memory in used on msgng...) u can find default apps/games and themes here:

best thing to do is to hav ur unit replaced, u got a faulty 1.. i strongly suggest to get nokia 3250 direct at nokia store coz units bundled with network operators (no offense) and unauthorized distributors has problems like freezing when sending msgs, flashing/blinking screens, twisting mechanism does not work, turning on/off itself.. u can hav ur firmware updated to at least V3.21 RM-38 01-04-06 at ur nearest nokia care center.. as far as my 3250 is concerned, i had it for almost 4 months now and never encountered any of d aforementioned probs.. i had V3.18 firmware b4 and had no prob in sending msgs and stuff..

loudspeaker is 1 of d loudest i've ever heard! almost as loud as SE P910i with better quality! yup i hav 3250 for about 4 months already and im quite satisfied with it! as for d camera, if u take pics in good lighting conditions with a steady hand, it will giv u decent 4 x 6 prints plus d white balance like flourescent, it really works! on d other hand capturing pics indoors will result into noisy ones but applying noise reduction with some image editors like ACDsee will fix d noise and help alot if u plan to print em..

3250 is worth d money u would pay for! juz go and buy it! warning!! i highly recommend dat u only buy directly from nokia store and not thru ur network operator or any unathorized distributor dat has faulty software, besides if u buy at nokia store u'll get a 1 year warranty!

PX200 will cost u around 3000-4000 indian rupees, PX100 lower but CX300 higher around 4000-6000 rupees.. its d best companion of 3250, believe me! its d best, u can throw ur iPod for good after u listen to those earphones especially PX200 which i highly recommend for ya!

bitrate is d amount of data in a certain duration of time, it has somethin' to d with d quality of ur videos/music files, d higher it is d better but take note u must know ur devices specs to optimize performance..
firmware is a software program or set of instructions programmed on a hardware device. it provides the necessary instructions for how the device communicates with the other hardware device
OR
firmware is d software version of a mobile phone (actually even digicams, TVs, DVDs and d like has this) usually if d firmware no. of ur unit is lower it means d built in software of ur device is older, take note firmwares r continually being upgraded by manufacturers to improve their device's performance and if any, correct any BUGS or ERRORS dat d current firmware has.. it's like windows xp service pack1 and windows xp service pack2, between em WinXP SP2 is more updated than the SP1, hence SP2 may have more features and/or better performance plus corrected software problems.. in other words firmware updates can improve the performance and reliability, indeed even the basic available functionality of a device, and many devices benefit from regular firmware updates. u can check ur firmware (if nokia) by pressing *#0000# wyl ur on d idle screen or standby screen wer ur wallpaper, signal strength and battery meter is usually shown.. or u can take it from this point of view, firmware upgrade is like re-installing an OS like windows xp on ur PC.. =)

1) dat's ONLY true if u get ur 3250 from ur network operator or unauthorized distributor, if i were u, juz buy from NOKIA STORE directly to avoid problems
2) i only dropped my unit 1 time on a wood surface, d camera is still fine 100% working, i suggest u buy d crystal or rubber casing to protect d camera module

Hey, can someone help me out pleez!...i recently removed my memory card from my cellphone and inserted it back again!...but now, everything i had saved on my memory card like, themes, videos, images, even some preinstalled stuff like Snakes and Lifeblog vanished!! all i have left is the stuff i have saved on my phone memory!...and my memory is back to 128 Mb, i tried installing the themes again! but i get a "Unable to install" error!..
i'd be really grateful to whoever helps me out! thanks! :)

i was planning 2 buy the headphones u get with the sony ericsson W500i but now i think i should wait.n also the settings u gave 4 the xilisoft converter works like a dream.thanx 4 it.n also do u know from where do i download themes meant for the 3250 n not for other fones.(i tried mobile9,mobilethemes etc)but they do not have a background 4 the music player.

if u want to make a choice between SE w800 & nokia 3250 go for SE w800. cause it has autofocus+flash which r vary vary important for good picture quality,SE has 4GB extendable memory card slot,sound quality is awesome + its compact.

I just bought a Nokia 3250. I am highly satisfied by its performance/quality/etc. However, sometimes I see network issues..and I can also not check balance on the screen by *123#.. However, if I do restart the phone *123# starts working..but stops working again after the phone is on for few hours...What could be the problem?
I will give the phone 8/10 on my personal usage..
