Whenever I twists the phone to camera mode,the camera doesnt start up.(this happens only on twisting to the right side)

my firmware is 3.18 .
what should i do ?

          ng:
          1) wen i got my 3250, d firmware was 3.18 too, but i never experienced such a problem. whether i twist d camera facing myself or d other side. so i guess, ur friend should ask for a replacement of his unit.

          2) his microSD does not have "still image editor" preloaded. u can find it here and install it.

          i've tried W810 with a walkman branded big headphone on a SE concept shop (d 1 dat covers ur whole ears and NOT d one dat comes with W810 rubber plug earphones or HPM-70) and i found out dat sound clarity or treble on W810 on d said big walkman branded headphone definitely looses out to d default HS-20 earphones by 3250, there's no doubt about it 100% i'll rate 3250 = 8.7 wyl W810 = 7.5. on d other hand, bass element on d said headphone on W810 is better than HS-20 i'll rate it 8.3 wyl HS-20 7.5. take note dat i've listened to 'bring me to life' track ripped/encoded in same format and bitrates, etc.. and i've noticed dat W810's volume on d music player is lower than 3250's when using the said respective ear/headphones, even wen set to max level. also, for d record, i've set d rightmost band equalizer of W810 and 3250 to max, so there's no chance of increasing W810's treble element further on d said big walkman branded headphone.

          as for d loudspeaker quality (clearness):
          W810 = 8.5
          3250 = 9

          loudspeaker loudness:
          W810 = 6.8
          3250 = 8.8

                  This phone is the worst!! DO NOT depend on the camera (video and photo)... the card makes a lot of errors that made me lose EVERYTHING from a trip because I didn't have my pc to download!! its a terrible terrible phone!! if you want to keep your pics... use a real camera...

                          I bought the 3250 a couple of months back. I like the the phone. Just 1 big problem it takes 1-2 minutes 2 send a text message. The phone just freezes. Anyone else had this??

                            Hey viperkid... Need your help again.My friend's 3250 is facing the following problems:

                            1)Whenever he twists the phone to camera mode,the camera doesnt start up.(this happens only on twisting to the right side,on twisting to the left,the cam starts).The music player starts up on a 180' twist.

                            2)In the image gallery,there is normally an option to edit images,but his cell has no such option. I inserted my micro MMC in his cell,and the edit option came, but on reinserting his card,the edit option disappeared again.I tried clicking a snap on both-the phone memory & the memory card, but the option didnt come back for either of the snaps so i dont think there's a problem with the card.

                            I've checked his firmware version,its V 3.18, which is the same as mine, so we're absolutely clueless of as to what to do next...

                            Please tell me what to do...

                              yup, it has. u hav to enter ur lock code everytime u unlock d keypad. or if u don't want to bother with lock codes, u can download this freeware!

                              dat 1 works like d one found on 3100, 3220, 6020 in other words nokia S40 phones. no need to key in lock code to unlock keypads..

                              since i haven't tried 6270/6280's video capture, i'll b uploading a sample video taken with 3250 on mobango very soon so u can see d real score no more and no less about its quality! BRB! P.S. as wat i remember, 6280 can capture videos with VGA resolution (640 x 480) with 15 frames per second contrary with 3250 dat captures videos with QCIF (176 x 144) resolution in 15fps.

                                i think now N3250 is the second place in loudest loudspeaker after W550i.....does N91 loudspeaker same as N3250????

                                  hi viperkid,
                                  thanks. i would like to use it extensively for 1 hour long videos !! but i read somewhere that the 3250 video recording comes a bit pixelated. is that true? is it a average phone for video recording??

                                  how would u rate it vs the 2 Mega Pixels of
                                  N6270 / 6280 ?

                                      video on 3250 is absolutely better than N6630 and SE W810/W800/K750. it records in 3gp format 15 fps (150kbps) 176 x 144 pixel resolution.

                                      i'll rate it:
                                      6630 = 6.9
                                      W810/W800/K750 = 6.3
                                      3250 = 7.4

                                      d best thing to do is return ur microSD and have it replaced from d place where u bought it. apparently d microSD dat came with ur phone has a defect.

                                      as i said b4, 3.21 improved a bit on noise reduction (especially indoor shots). not dat much, just a little vs 3.18
